Hello i am a green card holder , in mean time i did N400 i did have biometrics last month . I did application for my husband who he is not in the state on September 25 2015, we got married on May 23 2015 since then i am traveling back and forth when i was there i got letter here in the state that i have interview on may 31st 2016 in my local office i packed my suitcases and left i was on the interview is costing me fortune and i can no longer keep my job because i am on the road all the time and still i do not have answer on my I130 i called office they do not give me nothing specific i thing is long time since september last year to not get any answer please i need some answers thanks!

What exactly is your question/ how can we help?

Since you are a greencard holder at this time, it will take about 2 years until your husband gets an interview, so you still have over a year to wait.

It sounds like you lost your job because you are visiting your husband a lot? If so, make sure you have a co-sponsor for the affadavit of support. If you spend too much time outside the USA, it could also impact your naturalisation.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

I am asking!! I should have answer at least on the I130 I do have affidavit of support is my son already I am in the state now and I did biometrics on my N400 and I know people with the green card and they have answer after 5-6 months on the I130 it will be a year next month and still nothing and they did interview on me idk why I have interview ? Because I asked couple days ago immigration officer he was surprised that I have interview here in the state he says that my husband he should has interview in the home country idk I am confused ?

Can somebody give me some answer ? Did someone went on the interview alone I am the petitioner my husband he is back home I appl I130 at September 2015 after the interview I didn't get anything?

Is normal to go for interview for I130?

Hello everyone after a long wait on my I130 I made appointment and went to my local office to check why i don't have still answer they told me that my case was approved thank god back on 31st of may 2016 but no letter nothing why idk ??? they told me they mailed it, not true i didn't get anything! officer promise they will mailing again i was in the office on the 10 of august 2016 today is 22nd of august this is normal i just need that approval to continue with my case is so stupid i wait from May until now for nothing and still i didn't have nothing in my mail did somebody has same experience like this ???
