Proof of common law/ customary marriage for parents

I am filling the I 130 for my mom and I am not sure what to put down as her marital status as I have no marriage certificate as proof. They had a customary marriage and therefore do not have a marriage certificate.

I did see somewhere on the forum that during the process, we can get a couple of relatives to give affidavits as witnesses to the ceremony, in the meantime what do I put down as her marital status. Confused. I am anticipating the same issue when I file for my dad.

Are they legally married, by the laws if your home country?

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.
