2 visas, 2 passports with different spelling of names

Hi I'm applying for AOS from F1 based on marriage. So here's the thing I'm a dual citizen. I have a passport from the Philippines where I was born and I have a passport from Saudi Arabia. I used my Saudi Arabia passport to get first a tourist and an f1 visa. I'm here on an f1 visa now. The birth certificate I'm gonna submit is from the Philippines but the spelling of my name on my birth certificate is different on my Saudi passport but the same on my Philippines passport. Here are my questions:

1. Would they question my names being spelled differently? Also my name on my Saudi Passport is longer because I have my grandfather's name on it too...as the custom in Saudi but not on my birth certificate...are they strict on this?

2. Which copy of nonimmigrant visas do I send them? just F1? or both b2 and f1?

3. Do I need to submit a copy of my Philippines passport too?

I was born in the Philippines and up until 10 I was a citizen of the Philippines. When my Mom and I applied for saudi citizenship they automatically had my name changed to the one I'm using on my saudi passport. They changed my middle name to the name of my grandfather and when it was translated from english to arabic my last name had different spelling.

Would that be sufficient? What if I get an RFE? I'm afraid of submitting my application and getting an RFE because of this and then won't have enough time to fix it

I can't change the name of my passport or the name in my birth certificate

Do you think I should call USCIS or the service center in my area and ask them about this? Is that a good idea?

Not really. The misinformation line isnt generally helpful.

If you cant fix the erroneous paperwork then why are you worrying about an RFE?

Misinformation line? Sorry I don't understand.

I worry that once I send my application and then they question the difference in names on my birth certificate and passports won't I only have 3 weeks to respond to an RFE? What if I can't fix it in that amount of time? Which is why I want to have everything ready before I send my application

different names may not be a big problem, but if you have different dates of birth then you are in a problem.

I had a (Somewhat) similar issue. My husband was born in Costa Rica and was given both of his moms last names as his dad was not present to sign the birth certificate. At age 6, his parents brought him back to Nicaragua (both parents are Nicaraguan, thus he is as well) and he was given a Nicaraguan birth certificate. His father signed that certificate giving him one last name from mom and one from dad. Essentially he has two different birth certificates with two different names and supporting documents.

USCIS wants your actual birth certificate which is from the Philippines and you will use that name on all of your documents. We did this for my husband and his original BC from Costa Rica with that name. There is a section on the paperwork for an AKA name. There you should put your name on your Saudi passport and attach a letter explaining the situation. I never received an RFE in regards to my husband. that is not to say you wont but most everything is explainable. Good luck!
