Alternatives after H1B petition denial

Hi,

H1B petition applied by my employer got denied for reasons related to my employer. So, I am looking for alternatives for proceeding further.

1) Can I approach another employer with the same I-797C? Would a new employer be able to pursue on the same application as it was already selected in the lottery?

2) Or my employer itself can try to do something in this regard by re-opening this denied application etc or is it the end of the story?

3) Will I fall under lottery exempt for future years?
