It has been 76 days since this process started...

I made a service request on Sep 26th to request for biometric appointment and now 30-day-waiting-period is over.

Today is Oct 26th, after 30 day-waiting period, I don't receive anything via email, text, or mail. So disappointed.

However, I also made another service request on Oct 13th regarding the same issues.

I have no idea what to do because I don't want to make another service request because it looks like I'm already in line of the assigned immigration officer to work on my case. And I don't want to make one more service request and wait in line again for another officer.

However, I have infopass next Friday (11/4) in San Francisco office. I already make a call request for Tier 2 person to call me. What should I do? Just wait for infopass...?

Same here. Waiting until this week ends. I have infopass appointment next friday too Nov 4. 8f nothing arrived this weeks I'll try the infopass. Its been forever waiting for the biometrics???

Leeshaoran, read my post from earlier today, perhaps that has happened to you as well as me. My notice date was August 15. Your infoPASS should be able to give you info, talk to a Tier 2 officer as well and ask specific questions, I find talking to a couple Tier twos and going to my infoPASS I have found out a lot of information. Talking to multiple Tier 2s is good because generally if they all say the same thing then that is generally true. If one says one thing, and another says something else, it's tough to believe that I find and have also found sometimes they give you the run-around. Just my $.02!! Be patient! It's frustrating I know lol

That is so true. They sometimes have different answers. We really need to be patient.

Day 9: August 17, 2016 - Notice date of NOAs

Day 11: August 19, 2016 (12:26am) - received email notifications that our application has been accepted and routed to the USCIS National Benefits Center for processing.

Day 13: August 21, 2016 - all cases receipts are working online. Registered for email and text alerts.

Day 14: August 22,2016 - got hard copies of NOAs on the mail. Notice date is August 17, 2016.
Day 44: September 21,2016 - called USCIS to follow up my biometrics letter. I was given a referral number & was advised to wait & call again after 30 days if biometrics don't arrived. (30 days should be October 21).

Day 67: October 14,2016 - called USCIS again and request to talked to a tier 2. Tier 2 made request and sent it to my local office. Advised to call back again on the 29th if the biometrics letter don't arrive.

Day 84: October 31,2016 - received biometrics letter in the mail (finally! Almost 2 months from NOA 1 date)

Day 88: November 4,2016 - I-765 (EAD) updated online to 'Case was Approved' on October 31.

Day 91: November 7,2016 - received EAD approval notice in the mail

Day 98: November 14,2016 - Biometrics appointment in Tampa (in and out within 35 mins)

Day 99: November 15,2016 - I-765 (EAD) updated online to 'New Card Is Being Produced'

Day 102: November 18,2016 - I-765 (EAD) updated online to 'Card Mailed to Me'

Day 106: November 22,2016 - I-765 (EAD) updated online to 'Card Was Delivered To Me By The Post Office' and found it in the mailbox! :)

Day 112: November 28,2016 - Applied for SSN

Day 118: December 3,2016 - SS card received in the mailbox :)

Day 172: January 27, 2017 - Received a text message from USCIS that there is a change in my case. I now have a schedule for interview and it's on March 2!

Day 175: January 30, 2017 - Received the Interview Appointment letter in the Mail! :) 

Day 206: March 2, 2017 - Interview schedule.

You mentioned you are waiting for a phone call from them? If not call the 800 number, talk to the customer service agent (first person to pick up) tell them you've been waiting an extended amount of time and have not received a biometrics appt and you want to talk to a Tier 2. They should transfer you then you'll get in line for a call back. They call you back and that's a Tier 2 agent. Definitely talk to a Tier 2 and do an infopass, more info the better

How i can talk to the tier 2?

Just tell the first person to answer your call to transfer you to a tier 2.

my I-765 just changed from Card being produced yesterday to Case was approved just now...not sure what difference it made...

I saw that u also haven't receive your biometric. How is your process going? Did you make any service request?

Guys how long do you think I'll actually receive my EAD?

The other day it said "Card being produced" then yesterday it updated again to "Case was approved".

I have a job offer that pays fairly well so I really need this soon. Have to apply for SSN, Driver's license, etc.

This is driving me nuts.

I got an update for EAD "case was approved" two weeks ago and a notice of approval a few days later, but no actual EAD yet.

they're inconsistent, mine's just 1 day in between updates from card production to case approved.

Oh. I hope its gonna arrive soon for both of us and others as well

I got my EAD card last tuesday. It was delivered approximately 3 weeks after being approved. So my status updates just said card has been produced then changed to card has been delivered then to card has been mailed w a tracking number.

Just wanted to share in case some people are in the same situation:

I was able to start working before getting my physical EAD card since our state renewed my driver's license (as per SOS it already reflected on their system that I was authorized to work) and my employer only needed my I-797c plus valid driver's license as proof for the e-verify (my company also verified this w their lawyer). The status on the USCIS system is new card is being produced. This actually makes sense because if you receive your EAD card, the date reflected there is when it was approved and produced.

Again, it depends on your state and employer but if you need to start soon, maybe you can try and renew your DL.

My case is now ready to be scheduled for an interview (Oct.26th).

It has been exactly a week since biometric.

If I were to wait till my assigned date, 25th, it probably wouldn't be ready to be scheduled just yet, so I'm glad I walked in.

Does anyone know how long it usually take to get actual interview date?

AOS/EAD Delivered: August 8th, 2016 (Day 0)

EAD (I-765) Approved: October 14th, 2016 (Day 68)

Mine was two weeks after the status changed to "ready to schedule for interview"
