I got my biometric done last week as an early walk in (it's scheduled for Nov.7). However, I recevied two same biometric notice, I got one from last Saturday and one today (Tuesday). Has this happened to anyone else? Received two wo exactly same biometric notice? Should I just ignore them since I already did my bio last week?

I received 2 same biometric letters as well.

Dates are the same and everything else.

I also did walk in for the bio.

I'm sure you have called USCIS for biometric more than once, right?

I think here's what happened.

1 notice was a normal notice sent by USCIS after your biometric was scheduled and the other was sent via your request.

If you talked to different tier 2 officers in the past, this may be a high possibility.

just received an RFE for my I-131... I have my EAD in hand (not combo card).... I applied for everything at the same time... why am I getting an RFE when I should have a combo card? Will that RFE put on HOLD my I-485?

Hi Drap, nope your 485 is moving along as it supposed to be. 131 and 765 gos to another section for review/completion.

I cant imagine why you would get a rfe for a I131. The only things I could think of is missing signature/missing or incorrect information. Just going to have to wait for the pink letter in the mail. Good luck ?

Yeah, my cases are in Missouri, at NBC. I saw someone from Cleveland, Ohio here with the same timeline as me. They had their interview 10/18. And when you think for 7 weeks I did not know anything about the supposedly missed appointment. By the way ask the speak to a tier 2 again to see if they got your Biometrics, most likely tier 1 would be lost.

Thanks for the well wishes. I am curious to see what it is asking for. I called uscis and they said they put my name on queue for scheduling for my I485... Any idea how long it takes after they put my name in queue?

Just got done with Biometric a quick 15 mins session. And on the way home got an update on my wifes EAD, went from approved to Card Production.

Just got off the phone with a Tier 2, the guy I spoke to was really cool, he said he had been dealing with cases of those who have the same or similar receipt notice dates. Basically for me, which will help others that are like me, I did not receive biometrics after the receipt notice (Aug 15, 2016) and have still not had anything despite putting in an SR after 30 days post-receipt. This past Monday night my AP was approved but EAD was not. What the Tier 2 said was that the AP was approved, the EAD was looked at but couldn't be considered "approved" as I did not have my biometrics done, and by it being looked at and my AP approved that is what is triggering the biometrics to be scheduled. So what I took from that is if you have not had a biometrics since your notice date but your AP was approved. Then you should receive the biometrics as the AP approval and your EAD being looked at will trigger the biometrics so just wait a week or two until you get it in the mail. With that being said if your AP has not been approved, it may be looked at, and that will trigger the biometrics appt.

March 1,2016 - I arrived in the US with a B2 visa (visitor)

Day 00: August 4,2016 - we submitted our AOS package (I-130, I-485, I-765) (USPS Priority Mail)

Day 0: August 8, 2016 - Package arrived at USCIS Chicago Lockbox

Day 1: August 9, 2016 - Received date in NOA (Form I-797C, Notice of Action)

Day 9: August 17, 2016 - Notice date of NOAs

Day 11: August 19, 2016 (12:26am) - received email notifications that our application has been accepted and routed to the USCIS National Benefits Center for processing.

Day 13: August 21, 2016 - all cases receipts are working online. Registered for email and text alerts.

Day 14: August 22,2016 - got hard copies of NOAs on the mail. Notice date is August 17, 2016.

Day 44: September 21,2016 - called USCIS to follow up my biometrics letter. I was given a referral number & was advised to wait & call again after 30 days if biometrics don't arrived. (30 days should be October 21).

Day 67: October 14,2016 - called USCIS again and request to talked to a tier 2. Tier 2 made request and sent it to my local office. Advised to call back again on the 29th if the biometrics letter don't arrive.

Thanks!! Im excited, I can finally apply for Driver's License here in WI. Regarding the notifications, status changed after they approved it, the day they sent it and then the day it was delivered.
