When is your interview? Mine is November 21.

I don't have a date yet. The USCIS website says "as of Oct.19th, we are ready to schedule an interview for I-485. We will send you a notice."

Something like that. I'm still waiting for EAD and AP approval, but nothing as of today.

Something like that. I'm still waiting for EAD and AP approval, but nothing as of today.

OK. I wish you good luck. I was tempted to call them when my application have spent 72 days but at the morning of 74th day, I got approval for EAD and AP and interview date for AOS.

If you don't hear from them on your 75th day, calm them on 76th day.

Wouhou!!!! Got an email that my EAD card is being produced! However, I have a question. For my AP, they said "name has been updated"......is it because I have my visa under my maiden name, and they need to change it before producing the card, if ever? they confuse me.....

Both EAD and AP for us said "Name was updated" the day before we were approved. I believe it just means they are about to approve the case and they didn't necessarily make any updates to your name.

Day 0: August 8, 2016 - Package arrived at USCIS Chicago Lockbox

Day 1: August 9, 2016 - Received date in NOA (Form I-797C, Notice of Action)

Day 9: August 17, 2016 - Notice date of NOAs

Day 11: August 19, 2016 (12:26am) - received email notifications that our application has been accepted and routed to the USCIS National Benefits Center for processing.

Day 13: August 21, 2016 - all cases receipts are working online. Registered for email and text alerts.

Day 14: August 22,2016 - got hard copies of NOAs on the mail. Notice date is August 17, 2016.
Day 44: September 21,2016 - called USCIS to follow up my biometrics letter. I was given a referral number & was advised to wait & call again after 30 days if biometrics don't arrived. (30 days should be October 21).

Day 67: October 14,2016 - called USCIS again and request to talked to a tier 2. Tier 2 made request and sent it to my local office. Advised to call back again on the 29th if the biometrics letter don't arrive.

Day 84: October 31,2016 - received biometrics letter in the mail (finally! Almost 2 months from NOA 1 date)

Day 88: November 4,2016 - I-765 (EAD) updated online to 'Case was Approved' on October 31.

Day 91: November 7,2016 - received EAD approval notice in the mail

Day 98: November 14,2016 - Biometrics appointment in Tampa (in and out within 35 mins)

Hey guys I have an infopass tomorrow, basically because it's been 63 days since my receipt notice and I have yet to hear anything for a biometrics appt. What can I expect, I'll bring just about everything I have so far. Also, are there any key questions I can ask to really get some progress made? Or just anything at all that I should make sure to ask? I already have a list, I want to make sure I'm not missing anything

When are you planning to schedule an infopass?

Im actually just waiting for an available schedule in my local office. Im constantly checking. Hopefully i can get the next Friday sched. My last conversation on a tier told me that call again on the 31st if i dont receive the bio letter. Instead of calling i just wanted to talk to an officer personally.

Just ask them where you're case at? Is it already in that local office or still at NBC because it has been 60 days and you haven't receive your bio appt. Bring all your notices and the appointment for your infopass. And IDs. I hope it goes well. Please let us know tomorrow ?

It's most likely at NBC. If you didn't do your Biometrics they won't send it to the field office. Mine is still at NBC, pending background check (since they don't have my biometrics I have to wait till 11/9 just to do my bio)
