My EAD has been in production since OCT 05... Any idea when the status will change? I thought i'd have the card in 14 days but now its been 16 days without an update... HELP

Mine has also been in production since 0ct 7 and no update yet. We just need to wait I think

I have an interview for I-485 that is ready to be scheduled as of Oct. 19th. No notice yet, as I imagine the interview date will be mailed to me, or do you get a text? Will I receive a text or email regarding approval of EAD and AP, since

they are two separate applications?

I have an interview for I-485 that is ready to be scheduled as of Oct. 19th. No notice yet, as I imagine the interview date will be mailed to me, or do you get a text? Will I receive a text or email regarding approval of EAD and AP, since

they are two separate applications?

If you requested to get text/email for your applications you will (if not go ahead and create an USCIS account, add your receipt numbers and subscribe to text/email updates)

You will also receive your official Interview Notice and Approval Notices, separately for each case in the mail.

I did request email and texting notifications for all of my forms. Do you know about how long it takes to receive these notices?

Once your case is approved it will take 3-7 business day to get the notice. I got my Approval Notice in 3 business day (5 days with the weekend)

If somehow your EAD is not approved by the time you have your interview and you are approved at your interview, EAD/AP will not be produce anymore and your case will be terminated as you got your Green Card which allows to both work or travel.

Any news from those with notice dates of 15 & 17 who haven't receive their biometrics appointments yet? Still waiting on mine. They haven't touch my case yet. My last referral number is due on the 29th. I believe we can't make an SR for our EAD even if its already past the 75 days if we are not done with the bio yeah?

:idea: May 31,2011-we met thru a common friend in FB (we've been bestfriends since then)

(F) February 24,2014-we officially became a couple

:wub: November 25,2014 - got engaged

(L) March 16,2015- we got married in the Philippines

Our AOS Journey:

March 1,2016 - I arrived in the US with a B2 visa (visitor)

Day 00: August 4,2016 - we submitted our AOS package (I-130, I-485, I-765) (USPS Priority Mail)

Day 0: August 8, 2016 - Package arrived at USCIS Chicago Lockbox

Day 1: August 9, 2016 - Received date in NOA (Form I-797C, Notice of Action)

Day 9: August 17, 2016 - Notice date of NOAs

Day 11: August 19, 2016 (12:26am) - received email notifications that our application has been accepted and routed to the USCIS National Benefits Center for processing.

Day 13: August 21, 2016 - all cases receipts are working online. Registered for email and text alerts.

Day 14: August 22,2016 - got hard copies of NOAs on the mail. Notice date is August 17, 2016.
Day 44: September 21,2016 - called USCIS to follow up my biometrics letter. I was given a referral number & was advised to wait & call again after 30 days if biometrics don't arrived. (30 days should be October 21).

Day 67: October 14,2016 - called USCIS again and request to talked to a tier 2. Tier 2 made request and sent it to my local office. Advised to call back again on the 29th if the biometrics letter don't arrive.

Day 84: October 31,2016 - received biometrics letter in the mail (finally! Almost 2 months from NOA 1 date)

Day 88: November 4,2016 - I-765 (EAD) updated online to 'Case was Approved' on October 31.

Day 91: November 7,2016 - received EAD approval notice in the mail

Day 98: November 14,2016 - Biometrics appointment in Tampa (in and out within 35 mins)

Day 99: November 15,2016 - I-765 (EAD) updated online to 'New Card Is Being Produced'

Day 102: November 18,2016 - I-765 (EAD) updated online to 'Card Mailed to Me'

Day 106: November 22,2016 - I-765 (EAD) updated online to 'Card Was Delivered To Me By The Post Office' and found it in the mailbox! :)

Day 112: November 28,2016 - Applied for SSN

Day 118: December 3,2016 - SS card received in the mailbox :)

Day 172: January 27, 2017 - Received a text message from USCIS that there is a change in my case. I now have a schedule for interview and it's on March 2!

Day 175: January 30, 2017 - Received the Interview Appointment letter in the Mail! :) 

Day 206: March 2, 2017 - Interview schedule.

In a similar situation. Expedite approved on the 7th and since then, card is stuck in the production stage, as per the online and phone statuses.

Our I-485 interview is scheduled already, but I desperately need the EAD/AP combo card to get to me before I travel internationally in November.
