Yay! After missing my appointment the 26th because they forgot to add my apartment number so couldn't deliver it the first time, I just got the bio appointment letter for the 25th! A month later but well, at least it's here!

(I'm glad I didn't try to go to SF because looks like my office is in Oakland...)

How many days before does people try to go to do the bio?

Good luck everyone! Looks like a lot of us got lucky today! We are closer!

Day 1: August 9, 2016 - Received date in NOA (Form I-797C, Notice of Action)

Day 9: August 17, 2016 - Notice date of NOAs

Day 11: August 19, 2016 (12:26am) - received email notifications that our application has been accepted and routed to the USCIS National Benefits Center for processing.

Day 13: August 21, 2016 - all cases receipts are working online. Registered for email and text alerts.

Day 14: August 22,2016 - got hard copies of NOAs on the mail. Notice date is August 17, 2016.
Day 44: September 21,2016 - called USCIS to follow up my biometrics letter. I was given a referral number & was advised to wait & call again after 30 days if biometrics don't arrived. (30 days should be October 21).

Day 67: October 14,2016 - called USCIS again and request to talked to a tier 2. Tier 2 made request and sent it to my local office. Advised to call back again on the 29th if the biometrics letter don't arrive.

Day 84: October 31,2016 - received biometrics letter in the mail (finally! Almost 2 months from NOA 1 date)

Day 88: November 4,2016 - I-765 (EAD) updated online to 'Case was Approved' on October 31.

Day 91: November 7,2016 - received EAD approval notice in the mail

Day 98: November 14,2016 - Biometrics appointment in Tampa (in and out within 35 mins)

Day 99: November 15,2016 - I-765 (EAD) updated online to 'New Card Is Being Produced'

Day 102: November 18,2016 - I-765 (EAD) updated online to 'Card Mailed to Me'

Day 106: November 22,2016 - I-765 (EAD) updated online to 'Card Was Delivered To Me By The Post Office' and found it in the mailbox! :)

thoses who didnt receive their biometric letter over 2 months get a lawyer and dont try to do the process by yourselft thats not right .

i just got my working permit approved whats next ???

You can call in behalf of your husband just make sure he is present with you when you call. I do believe they will take a look in your case when you call instead of just waiting for it to come. That,what most of us we did

Did you go to infopass appointment at Oakland to figure it out that they forgot your apartment number?

Did you go to infopass appointment at Oakland to figure it out that they forgot your apartment number?

No, so the 6th of october was 30 days waiting for the appointment letter and I was going to call and they updated that morning that they couldn't deliver a letter. So I called USCIS and talk to a tier 2 right away to know if that letter was my appointment or a rfe and she confirmed that it was my appontment letter (for the 26th) and that she would schedule a new date and send me a new letter, which arrived in only a week.

I am thinking of maybe going on wednesday for a walk-in... it's like 5 days earlier...

Good Monday Morning.

I checked my status online, my I-765 is approved!! without getting fingerprint done!!!

It was approved on Oct. 14th, last Friday. (68 days since they received I-765)

My Fingerprint is scheduled to be next Tuesday, and still waiting for the letter.

But I am planning to go in sometime this week anyways either with or without the letter.

Does anyone know if it would be okay to go without the letter?

Hope everyone's process goes smooth.
