Just before I went to sleep last night, my AP updated to approved. It usually takes two weeks to get the card right?

01/25/16 - Sent I-129f

01/28/16 - Packet received

02/01/16 - NOA1 (CSC)

02/02/16 - USCIS Cashed Check

02/08/16 - Received NOA1 Hardcopy

03/23/16 - NOA2

03/28/16 - Received NOA2 Hardcopy

04/11/16 - NVC received case

04/18/16 - Case Number Assigned

04/22/16 - Received NVC Letter

05/12/16 - Medical

05/23/16 - Interview - APPROVED!

06/01/16 - Received Passport with VISA

06/01/16 - Received "Packet 3" Lol

06/03/16 - CFO Seminar - Got the Cetificate and Sticker!

07/12/16 - Flight to US

07/13/16 - ARRIVED! :D

07/21/16 - Married (L)

08/01/16 - Sent AOS Packet

08/04/16 - Packet Delivered as per USPS

08/13/16 - NOA1

08/16/16 - Received Text / Email Notification

08/17/16 - USCIS Cashed Check

08/19/16 - Received NOA1 Hardcopy

08/29/16 - Received Biometrics Letter

That's actually not true. This process is all about the beneficiary and everything is in their name except the sponsor so it is best if that person just calls themselves, they could actually refuse to give information to any other then the person who is on the papers.

They can speak to the Petitioner, the Beneficiary and a Lawyer, but one of the first two have to be present.

I was really frustrated because i heard the waitcfor the 30 days so on and on. It has only been like 22 days since i called and open for a referral number so the lady keep insisting that i should wait for 30 days to hear back from them. Whenever i asked her to transfer me she would say the tier 2 will only tell me the same thing. I keep insisting to please transfer me and.she keeps on saying the same thing. I keep my composure and tried ti be really polite but insisted to be transfer so she gave up and my waiting time for a call bacl is 185 minutes. Let's see if they call back and if they dont hang up on me like others experiences here.

Waiting for Tier 2 officer to call me back as well. You did well by insisting, she doesn't know her job.

Okay. I just had a call back, guess what, after some time of the background music, there's a complete silence, i was saying hello but no one's answering. Is it me or someone did answer the phone on the other line but.no one is speaking?!

Our AOS Journey:

March 1,2016 - I arrived in the US with a B2 visa (visitor)

Day 00: August 4,2016 - we submitted our AOS package (I-130, I-485, I-765) (USPS Priority Mail)

Day 0: August 8, 2016 - Package arrived at USCIS Chicago Lockbox

Day 1: August 9, 2016 - Received date in NOA (Form I-797C, Notice of Action)

Day 9: August 17, 2016 - Notice date of NOAs

Day 11: August 19, 2016 (12:26am) - received email notifications that our application has been accepted and routed to the USCIS National Benefits Center for processing.

Day 13: August 21, 2016 - all cases receipts are working online. Registered for email and text alerts.

Day 14: August 22,2016 - got hard copies of NOAs on the mail. Notice date is August 17, 2016.
Day 44: September 21,2016 - called USCIS to follow up my biometrics letter. I was given a referral number & was advised to wait & call again after 30 days if biometrics don't arrived. (30 days should be October 21).

Day 67: October 14,2016 - called USCIS again and request to talked to a tier 2. Tier 2 made request and sent it to my local office. Advised to call back again on the 29th if the biometrics letter don't arrive.

Day 84: October 31,2016 - received biometrics letter in the mail (finally! Almost 2 months from NOA 1 date)

Day 88: November 4,2016 - I-765 (EAD) updated online to 'Case was Approved' on October 31.

Day 91: November 7,2016 - received EAD approval notice in the mail

Day 98: November 14,2016 - Biometrics appointment in Tampa (in and out within 35 mins)

Day 99: November 15,2016 - I-765 (EAD) updated online to 'New Card Is Being Produced'

Day 102: November 18,2016 - I-765 (EAD) updated online to 'Card Mailed to Me'

Day 106: November 22,2016 - I-765 (EAD) updated online to 'Card Was Delivered To Me By The Post Office' and found it in the mailbox! :)

Day 112: November 28,2016 - Applied for SSN

Day 118: December 3,2016 - SS card received in the mailbox :)

Oh really?! Well if that's the case, i am hopeful I'll get ead soon too. Thanks ?

I happens very rarely and I believe it's only if your bio is still not there after the 90 days. But try and do a search in the forum. One recently just got their EAD without the bio.

Georgia16, The question is: are we adjusting for permanent residency or are we adjusting for employment authorization?

Without the biometrics, we might as well kiss the permanent residency goodbye!

We just need to do what others have done, that's all.

Thanks for the info Georgia. I actually started researching about it. and yeah, there's some instances that they received the ead without bio. Now im trying to figure out if this is only for K1 or can also be applicablecto me as visitor adjusting status.

So just received a call from USCIS. Officer was polite.

Said i just have to wait to be scheduled for a biometrics. This is pathetic. The waiting starts again.

No I didnt.

Will actually put in another service request on the 10/19/2016, if i dont get a letter for biometrics.
