I got an update too that my AP was approved.but I haven't done my biometrics

Yeah, I'll try to call again one last time this week and try to speak to a tier 2 tomorrow. I was just tired of hearing the wait for the 30 days spiel. Sigh ??

I am calling tomorrow as well. And please don't fall for the usual line they give, ask for answers.

I think that I will call them at the end of this week. It shouldn't take this long, especially with a quick reply. I can see it being delayed a little, but

this would be ridiculous.

So I checked my case status again today and it now says "Response to RFE received" We will now continue to process your case at the National Benefits Center!

Finally, at least SOMETHING has changed! Glad I mailed in EAD and AP with my I-485.

Bio isn't need for the AP.

BUT EAD can be approved without the bio.

Congrats! I thought they approved them at the same time too. I have no news for AP.

Thank you, Georgia! What I read is that EAD and AP come on a combo card, that's why I was surprised that only the AP was Approved. Can't wait for my EAD.

No ead can be approved without the bio it just won't have the fingerprint on it

They can come in two cards but it's really normal with combo card so that is what you should get

That's actually not true. This process is all about the beneficiary and everything is in their name except the sponsor so it is best if that person just calls themselves, they could actually refuse to give information to any other then the person who is on the papers.

There was a person on other forum saying that the petitioner called but USCIS required the applicant to be present.

The first person answered would be tier 1 rep. Tell him/her that you want to talk to tier 2 officer then explain why you need to talk to tier 2.

For example, you were supposed to hear back on this this date, but you didn't so you want to talk to tier 2. Then they will transfer you to tier 2.

But, I am sure you will have to wait for a while to talk to tier 2.

I was really frustrated because i heard the waitcfor the 30 days so on and on. It has only been like 22 days since i called and open for a referral number so the lady keep insisting that i should wait for 30 days to hear back from them. Whenever i asked her to transfer me she would say the tier 2 will only tell me the same thing. I keep insisting to please transfer me and.she keeps on saying the same thing. I keep my composure and tried ti be really polite but insisted to be transfer so she gave up and my waiting time for a call bacl is 185 minutes. Let's see if they call back and if they dont hang up on me like others experiences here.
