Haven't had any progress either after my biometrics appointment, but that's okay! I've sort of gotten used to being stuck at home organizing things. I can't get a driver's license yet since my i-94 has an admit date only upto Oct. 10.

Also I renewed my passport to reflect my married name and I just got my new passport a few days ago. :)

Wow, your case is moving fast! Congratulations. I had my biometrics Sept 7 and haven't received a single update since then. Called USCIS today and they told me if I don't get my EAD by Nov. 8, I should call again. As for AOS, the office assigned to my case is still working on cases from January 2016 so I guess I won't get any notice for interview anytime soon.

My online status just changed to "Case Is Ready To Be Scheduled For An Interview" Does this mean I won't get an RFE? Because I was so convinced I will. I look at other people's timeline and usually it's RFE before schedule for an interview right? Does anyone know?

Thank u ... hoping my EAD is in hand end of November early December ...New York field office says it's processing case from October 2015 ... but I have a friend that sent her package the end of September 2015 and she got her green card in march of 2016 .. so I'm hoping mines would go just as smoothly ...

Good luck to u!

How do we know what office our case is assigned to? Is it the field office? If that's the case it's gonna be a long wait for me prolly for the AOS

From what I know the first 3 letters in your receipt number indicates the field office that processes your case. In my case for example, its MSCxxxxxxxxxxx which means my application is being handled by Missouri National Benefits Center.

When Tou get RFE it stops time from when they send it to they receive your response it does not start over again when ead is send in with AOS

Yes, it was an Initial Request for Evidence.....basically, I sent in a birth certificate that needed to be translated into english from spanish. I called USCIS yesterday to inquire about it, and they

said to allow 60 days and to call again if it doesn't arrive after that. They received the corrected document on Oct. 5th. The lady did say that unfortunately the time does start over, but that doesn't

mean that the EAD couldn't arrive within the 60 days. One document shouldn't slow down the process a lot, especially since it isn't a complicated one.

Well, I hope that we get something before the end of October.....PLEASE! The waiting continues......
