So exactly a month after receiving my hard copies, my case just updated saying that on October 6th, (today) they couldn't deliver my notice... I don't get how could it get lost when the other 4 letters didn't before...

I think you should just call them and ask for speaking to a level 2. Let the level 2 tell you what the notice is. If it's the biometric appointment, just ask him/her to tell you which center to go. You can just go there with your receipt notice and explain to them what happened and they should find you in the system and get your bio done without problems. Then you can figure out why they couldn't deliver your notice with that level 2 as well.

Thanks, I've been trying to talk to a tier but they say they are all busy so I'll keep trying. I filled an online inquiry but it could take another month to hear back...

I'll just keep calling so they can tell me if it was my appointment or not...

It's not that big a deal... ether 1 right now submit a name update to your cases before the card is printed... 2nd pay the absurd price to do a name change on your card or 3rd just leave it be and do a name change at your interview or when you do ROC... you can LEGALLY have documents in your maiden name even after name change a long as you show marriage certificate to show you are the same person... if your EAD is printed in your maiden name then come your interview request then to put your married name on the green card... once you get your GC your EAD is useless so why waste almost $500 getting a change on your EAD for to be replaced with your green card in a few months later

Thank u !

This morning we received our scheduled interview! Does anyone know if the Green Card is decided at the interview and then produced/delivered following said interview?

Yes to both and congrats:)

Sometimes people get approved during the interview or right afterwards, sometimes the case needs further review and a decision is not made for a while. It all depends (though generally cases are approved at or shortly after the interview). Congrats to everyone who has seen progress on their case!

Still waiting for my EAD. Did biometrics last Sept. 23rd.

No updates or anything yet @ MyUSCIS. Just the initial "received" stuff for i-130, i485, & i765.

Feels like its taking forever for an update & is really frustrating.

My EAD will be on its 60th day this Oct. 23 from NOA.

AOS from tourist visa here in San Jose, CA...

In most cases they will tell you at the end of the interview if the approve it or not but some times they'll tell you that the will review your case and you will hear back from them in a couple days

Hi everyone! Will MyUSCIS indicate if you'll be receiving an RFE/RFIE? It's been 29 days since my biometrics and MyUSCIS still says "Case Was Received". Also if you get one, will they be sending back the whole packet or just a notice letter? Scared that my parents-in-law may have accidentally thrown out my letter if USCIS did send one. But I haven't received any text/email notification at all. That's why I'm asking if it will show on MyUSCIS.

Congratulations! When did you do your biometrics if I may ask?

This is what I'm trying to do. I will call them until I hear something else other than "wait for another 30 days after inquiry"

Another question, did any of you try to call them again after 15 days of the inquiry and hear something new?
