how to do the expedite request

You just call USCIS or go to your local office... For EAD expedite you typically need proof of hardship or potential hardship for them to approve the expedite... example you currently work but if you don't get your EAD renewed by 'x' date you will lose your job or you have a job offer and if can't accept it then It may cause continued financial strain until you can work... uscis will typically ask for proof via letter from employer or job offer Edited October 5, 2016 by Moslund

I just got a text that they scheduled my interview for November 17th. I am a bit surprised because so far my EAD or AP cards wasnt approved but i dont care I am just happy.

Your last name IS your new name. Don't get people get confused about that.

Did you see what they entered on the computer when they fingerprintet you? You might be unlucky that it comes in your old name.

They entered Sheena Cadoo .... but it should have been Sheena Anderson

I am happy that most of you guys are having good updates on your cases, specially those with EAD approval and production and also those with interview schedules already..

Mean while, i am still waiting for my biometrics. ??? For those in the same boat with me, let us not lose hope and pray that it'll arrive really soon!

Yeah you'll just have to wait and see.

If it comes in old name then you'll have to get a name change on it and since it's not their fault it's a $450 to get a new card.

But wait and see maybe they have your new name in the system since you used that for your papers when sending them in.

Everything you sign and so on has to be in your new name since that's your name now.

It's not that big a deal... ether 1 right now submit a name update to your cases before the card is printed... 2nd pay the absurd price to do a name change on your card or 3rd just leave it be and do a name change at your interview or when you do ROC... you can LEGALLY have documents in your maiden name even after name change a long as you show marriage certificate to show you are the same person... if your EAD is printed in your maiden name then come your interview request then to put your married name on the green card... once you get your GC your EAD is useless so why waste almost $500 getting a change on your EAD for to be replaced with your green card in a few months later

Here is a question for everyone.

Yesterday mycase status said my EAD was approved... Today it said my AP was transferred to another office... is this normal and will I get my combo card? Idk what to do at this point..

Just got a request for initial evidence with my I-485. I had figured there was a thing or two I did not do right after sending the package, but at least I can confirm what it is when I get my letter and hopefully won't be delayed too much in being able to work.
