On friday we recieved both a hard copy letter saying that our petition for permanent resident had been approved and we received....drum roll please.....the ACTUAL GREEN CARD!!!!!! This is so exciting

So tomorrow will be 30 days since I got my hard copies and no bio appointment yet...

Could someone tell me where do I have to call and what will happen after that? Do I have to wait another 30 days?

All this process sucks... we don't deserve this for loving someone...

Yay congratulations!!! Hopefully I also get news before the week ends since you're just a few days ahead of me. Looks like some cases are starting to move now. I guess that's a good sign. :)

Strange thing is though, that the AP has not been approved - and yet I thought they usually send a combo EAD/AP card.. hmmm, we will see.

For the majority of people the AP usually changes to approved a day or so after the EAD... my case in particular my EAD changed to approved then the next day my AP changed to approved... the AP is just a little slow at changing status's... you still get the combo card of both EAD and AP Edited by Moslund

April 11th: Recieved at Chicago lockbox [Day 0]

April 25th: NOA1 date (never recieved e-notifications) [Day 14]

April 29th: NOA1 hard copy recieved in the mail [Day 18]

May 9th: "Fingerprint fee recieved" [Day 28]

May 12th: Reciept number's start working on USCIS case status website [Day 31]

May 20th: Biometrics letter recieved [Day 39]

June 1st: Biometric appointment [Day 51]

​November 12th: Interview letter received ​[Day 216]

December 1st: Interview day! APPROVED [Day 235]

December 5th: Case status changed from "fingerprint fee received" to "Approved" post dated Dec 1st [Day 239]

Just call 1 (800) 375-5283 then tell them it has been 30 days and you don't have your bio letter. Then they will make a inquiry for you and ask you to wait for another 30 days before giving them a call back. And yes, it sucks.

Let's not lose hope :) keep us posted!

My receipts came from lee summit MO but i live in Illinois.

I think that's the national center handling all the receipt before transferring to our local office. Mine is from there too I think.

No appointment today. We did open referral 2 weeks ago and when we call yesterday the gentleman we talked to said they are suppose to make a decision or action on it by Oct. 4. Until then he can not open another one. He was very helpful and patience.

Oh I notice you are in RockFord,IL . We are about an hour away in Montgomery,IL.

Hi, did you hear anything from USCIS today since it's 4th?

No luck on my end.

Anybody know how can we find out which service center is dealing with our case now? Or are they still at the national benefit center?

I have been called them 3 times after I make the inquiry on Sep 26, none of them tell me about making decision by Oct 4th and they all tell me to wait for another 30 days - which is Oct 26th.

Because a lot of you guys are mentioning Oct 4th action, so I told that and they are still telling me to wait.

I really think because of the biometrics appointment, it will delay EAD card.

1/12/2019: 90- ROC filing window open
1/17/2019: Mail I-751 Package via USPS Certified Mail 
1/22/2019: Package arrived
1/28/2019: Receive case number via text message  #WACxxxxxxxxxx
2/21/2019: Call USCIS for non-delivery notice receipt
2/29/2019: Receive 18-month extension letter (2 pages)
4/30/2019: Biometric Appt
...waiting...
