Hi, me and my wife are thinking of moving to a new house in a couple of months. Does anybody know if changing the address while on AOS is a pain in the ### and if the process geta delayed or papers get lost commonly?

Thank you

I completed my biometrics today for my wife and stepdaughter in Milwaukee, WI.

Appointment scheduled at 9am, arrived around 8am and they let us come in and get started right away! It took less than one hour to

do everything. Keep in mind that you need to fill out a small application, then you get a number, and wait for a little bit. Very professional

and courteous. Done with this part! :)

Now, just to wait for the EAD and we are set. Hopefully not much longer now.....

Have they asked you any specific questions about your marriage?

I'll be going to my boimetrics appointment tomorrow, kinda excited :content:

Also, do they let you in with cell phones?

09/13/2014 - came to the US on F-1 visa (still in status, pursuing my Bachelor's degree)

June 2015 - met my husband through social network

We changed address recently, a little over a month after filing for AOS. It was 2 forms, the AR-11 online, and the I-865 (change of address for the sponsor/s on the I-864). We got confirmation of both in the mail within a week. So far no problems.

I chose to leave our cell phones in the car. They didn't ask any questions about the marriage at all, they just wanted to see the license. Some people

brought cell phones in, but turned them off. It's up to you. I suppose it may depend on where your appointment is and what their policies are. :)

I'm pretty positive about getting GC in November and I truly hope elections will not affect our immigration process :pop:

In Atlanta the USC was not allowed in. Way to many people for everyone to have company with them.

So where are we at for the biometrics letter? For example, I got my NOAs in the mail two weeks ago... How long are people waiting for?

I received my biometrics appointment notice a day after I received hard copies of NOAs.

Some people have been waiting for 3+ weeks.

It's really individual.
