I think they file everything in their system but it only sends out notifications in bulk, at the "end of the day", more likely when the system updates to a new day, hence why the notifications have been sent at around 2am east coast time

Hello!

I sent both I-130 & I-485 on 3rd of August, but still haven't heard anything.

Is this normal?

My Timeline:

Receipt Dates: August 8th, 2016 for I-130, I-765

August 15th, 2016 for I-485

AOS/EAD Sent : August 3rd, 2016

AOS/EAD Delivered: August 8th, 2016 (Day 0)

1st NOA1 (e-notification): August 16th, 2016 (Text & e-mail) (Day 8)

Check Cashed & Website Updated : August 17th, 2016 (Day 9)

1st NOA1 (Hard Copy): August 20th, 2016 (Day 12)

EAD (I-765) Approved: October 14th, 2016 (Day 68)

Biometric Done: October 18th, 2016 (Day 72)

EAD Card is being Produced: October 18th, 2016 (DAY 72)

Biometric Scheduled: October 25th, 2016 (Day 79)

Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview: October 26th, 2016 (Day 80)

EAD Card was mailed to me: Nov. 1st, 2016 (Day 86)

EAD delivered: Nov. 3rd, 2016 (Day 88)

They have 45 days from recieving to process your documents... But the average time it takes is 7days mine took just over 2 weeks... You can call on day 30 to inquire if you e not heard anything by then Edited by Moslund

How did you get your first notification?

Was it by mail? text? e-mail?

I filled out the form to get text and email notification but I didn't recieve them I only got my NOA by mail... Some officer processi your documents disregard the email and text form so allot of people don't get the text or email notifications even tho they signed up for it Edited by Moslund

Lol, I sent my I-130, 485 and 765 out on 08/01 and USPS delivered on 08/04 and also haven't heard anything nor money order cashed. Hopefully we get a notification within the next couple of days.

I guess although paperwork was received end of July my noa1 date is August 5th so I'm an August filer. Already have bio metric is scheduled, got that a week after noa1 letter. Good luck everyone on your journey!
