thank you both.

I am preparing for my AOS too, my husband is USC and he has to file I130 which requires his own G325 and mine. The only thing is he doesn't have to fill any information repeated from I130 but only sign and print his name on G325. Pls check the I130 instructions.

It's a form G-325A, first of all.

And secondly - though it does say you don't have to fill out same information twice, it is hardly recommended you do in case one or more of your forms gets accidentally misplaced. and just as a general courtesy.

For those having issues changing their last name, me too. They want to send it to New York. I have to wait since we have a lot on right now we are having a ceremony in 2 weeks time (we did a quite thing for getting married and will have a ceremony for family). I'm going to wait until I can get the many amounts of documents they want and go up to the SS office with my mother in law.

guys after all i realize now that patience is the key as far as you enter in a bonafide marriage for love and not playing games a marriage where you really intend to live the life with the person you love so chill no need to stress out after filing and getting the receipt all will go smoothsly but guys !!!chilll

I got this on my case status. 'As of September 14, 2016, we are ready to schedule your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status, Receipt Number MSC XXXX..... for an interview.'

What should I be expectin on my interview. Anybody in my situation as well? Any idea on what I may be ask on my interview date.

Are you an August filer? meaning USCIS received your package just this August? Seems to be incredibly fast if it is.

August 16 - Package received by USCIS chicago lockbox

August 23 - Checks cashed

August 27 - NO1 mail received

Sept 13 - Biometrics appointment letter received

Sept 23 - Biometrics Appointment

October - ???

EAD should be sometime in october right? the 75th day would be around Oct 30. Hopefully its gonna be 60 days or less.

According to the USCIS AOS queue interview would be around Feb/March 2017?!

If you filled up your timeline it will give you some idea. Lucky for you, you have received your biometric schedule. There are still a few of us with Aug. 17 date that has not receive any scheduling.

Yes I am August filler. Uscis recieved my case on August 4 and I didn't my biometric on September 9. I noticed I haven't see any august filler that his or her case is ready for interview. I may have to seek advise from Maybe May or June filler. I really need to have ides what likely questions may be. Have you done your biometric?

OK. I see this post now. Your case is moving fast as well. After your biometric is done, your case may be ready for interview as well.
