I sent out I-485/I-765/I-131 for my wife and step daughter on 7/29/2016 via USPS priority mail to USCIS Chicago. Based on USPS tracking, it was delivered on 07/30/2016 (Saturday). I guess I probably belong to August filing group. :)

I still have yet received any emails/text from USCIS, no hard copy of NOA either. And checks have not been cashed. Should I concerned? Please advise. Thanks.

I checked my bank account this morning, and saw the checks were pending cashed...Hurray! But I still have got any email/text. But I am not worried.

Welcome to the forum. :) it's actually really quiet here right now as there is NO much progress in out cases. But hopefully we'll have some good news soon. :)

Nope. Definetly nothing to worry about right now. It takes a little time so we need extra patience. It could take up to 2 or 3 weeks before you can here from them, well at least as far as I've rear from other experiences. But hopefully we'll all have progress sooner than later. :)

Thanks

Got the texts and emails for AOS, EAD, AP this early morning at 2 AM! Such a weird hour for USCIS. Lol

I did not expect to be notified until next week but Praise God.

Also, the check was not cashed yet.

Congrats!

Same here. Was delivered by Fedex 8/4/2016. Since none of us has heard anything, I will just assume USCIS is moving slow at this point. Looking back at previous months threads the notification times seem to vary considerably.

Being on this thread with you guys helps to keep us from freaking out to bad. Thanks for being here. :)

Thanks guys for being there

I posted before that i think people at USCIS must be on vacation; lots of people tend to take vacation in August. My packet was delivered on 7/29 and i am on the same boat as you both. The money is still in my bank account...not seeing progress.

I finally got emails/texts from USCIS (texts were received just before midnight last night, and emails were in around 1am this morning :)

BTW, I sent the package on 7/29 via USPS priority mail, and delivered on 7/30 (Saturday). So in my case, it took almost 2 weeks to get emails/texts. Checks were pending cashed yesterday as well.

Finally got my paper NOA1. Filed date is August 1st, as I thought. NOA date is August 3rd, which is pretty quick. So fingers crossed the whole process will be quick. The case number is still not active on the USCIS case status tracker.

To everyone waiting on their notifications - don't worry until it's 30 days since received date, especially if you know that your application was delivered. I've been following people's progress here since April now and the first 3-4 weeks are really random - someone gets notifications quicker, someone - slower, but the results in terms of EAD etc were pretty much the same for everyone - around 85 days of wait from received date with no RFE's and sometimes even with those.
