just came back from my biometrics appointment. I had to drive almost 3 hours up there and when in at 1.15 (my appointment was at 2) I was the only one there and even had to ring a bell for an officer to come. The officer was really rude, she wouldnt accept my US drivers license, showed her my German ID and marriage certificate and she would accept that either. She told me they take just passports which i never heared of before but luckily i left mine with my husband who was waiting with me. During the whole process she was rushing me (when she was counting down from 3 to make the picture I was still standing at 2 because she was so fast).

We got done in 10 minutes and now I hope we hear soon from them again because I dont want to drive all the way up there during winter :/

If you are getting a RFE, can you still get the biometrics appointment or you won't get it until you fix the reason for referral?

I am glad you already had your biometrics! I am still waiting for mine. You had your biometrics in Tampa? I heard there's always a lot of people there. I think you are good for now. They will send your biometrics to FBI for checking. And if all is good, you just have to wait for a new update from USCIS. You are now looking at updates on your EAD/AP card and interview schedule (which can take a month or more).

Sent wifes package on 22nd. It was received on 24th.

Received text and email on 31st.

All case numbers working on September 6th.

Now your waiting game begins! You should have more patience though.

Hi guys

Still waiting my biometrics letter and still can't track my case on line...Last August 26 I received my NOA1.

Same here, still waiting for my biometrics letter. It's been more than 2 weeks..

Got my NOA in mail today. They did the 485 on the 30th and my 765 on the 24th. Kinda glad I got the NOA because i forgot to include the e-notice with my papers. Oops haha and then the tracking works for both.

Biometrics complete. They did full biometics on both the K1 and the K2 even though the K2 was only 8. However we did not pay an additional biometrics fee for the child. I was suprised they did all the same data captures on the child but overall it was painless. Took about 45 mins. Everybody remember to bring your marriage cert if you are a K1 to prove name change reason. I know some folks on VJ were not asked, but at the Houston office it is required to proceed with the biometric data collection.

this process is killing me i am tired all night i keep awake cannot sleep at all . we need an immigration reform.

it has been more than 2 weeks..17 days to be exact. My husband checked our mail every day.. it's getting frustrating, all the waiting, hehe

I think you will still be sent a biometrics appointment even if you have a RFE because it has nothing to do with it. It's a separate process. Some already have their biometrics done when they received their RFE. Because RFEs can come at any time during the AOS journey, even in the interview! But i hope you won't get any RFE. Or do you already received it?

Some already have their biometrics done when they received their RFE. Because RFEs can come at any time during the AOS journey, even in the interview! But i hope you won't get any RFE. Or do you already received it?

No, I was thinking that I might get a RFE because I already got all the letter but the i-130 and I read that some people are getting rfes for not attaching the taxes for the 2014-2013 which we didn't. But I am confused because on the jnternet it says that my i-130 was received and they have sent the receipt letter, same as the other forms.

Hopefully, like someone said, my i-130 is on my spouse's name and will arrive soon.

If the online says they received your i-130 then maybe it will just come a little later. Yes, the form would be under your spouse name. I hope it gets to yoi soon and its not lost in the mail! You should not get an RFE, i hope not! ?

If you're asking me, my receipt nos. are already working since Aug. 21, 2 days after i received email notifications of NOAs. That was fast but I hope the bometrics letter is faster, but i still don't have it..
