Damn, I thought you needed an emergency reason for the emergency AP but that the normal AP was just to travel. I have read of people going on vacation with it.

But well, I guess I will have to wait another year to spend Christmas home... ?

That's a pain, for sure. That's why I didn't plan to go back home for Christmas, just in case..... Good luck though! Hopefully, it will be there on time!

Thank you! You too!

Does myUSCIS update in realtime?

For example if my letter for biometrics is still on its way, will I see an update @ my uscis online?

Bio metrics letter arrived today, for the 13th.

They didn't give you much advanced warning? I suppose a week and a half isn't hugely bad. I worry mine will clash with my husbands work as can't apply for a licence until I have EAD.

On another note my hard copy of NOA1 arrived yesterday. My husband was so excited he wouldn't let me open them and then was disappointed when it was just a bit of paper lol.

Does anyone know if they send RFE or RFIE notification by SMS/Email before the hard copy is received? I had my biometrics on 31st, exactly 31 days after submitting our applications. And I've constantly been checking my email to see if they send one. Lol. ?

They don't. But if you can use the case tracker it will show up on that one.
