I'm new to the forum.

This is my timeline:

Day 00 - Aug 3: Mail package 3 forms to USCIS lockbox Chicago

Day 03 - Aug 5: Package delivered by USCIS

Day 15 - Aug 17: 3 Receipt Notice in email & text (Form I-797)

Day 18 - Aug 20: USCIS deposited checks

Day 20 - Aug 22: Received 3 hard copy of notices

Priority date: Aug 8th, 2016

Notice Date: Aug 17, 2016

USCIS hasn't update anything online yet. Hopefully to get my bio appointment online soon

Got NOA hard copies today! Notice day is 22 August ) 4 days after I got electronic notifications.

Not in F-1 status anymore

I'm currently F-1 right now. I thought you still have to maintain F-1 status. What will we be if we are not F-1 anymore?

Hello, You have really similar date as mine. Let the wait begin Don't mind if I'm asking, where is your National benefit center? I think it is indicate on the left hand side of NOA.

Today I received my biometric appointment letter. I am so happy. My appointment day is September 9, so basically I have two weeks from now till then. But from my experience so far, my process is two weeks interval, from the date of my NOA1 to when I receive my biometric letter is 2 weeks. So for all other fillers who haven't hear from USCIS, just be patient yours will soon come.

Hello guys! We got married this morning at City Hall and sent off our AOS application about an hour later (I had everything ready to go, just waiting on that marriage certificate!)

Feels great to finally have sent off that package, and now we wait again. I have no idea if I fall in the August filers, or the September filers (I guess if we are super mega lucky we can possibly get NOA1 before September 1st?)

Anyway, nice to be on this side of the whole thing!

Received 2 texts at 12:30 with numbers. I only have the numbers for AP and my Green Card application. Not one for EAD. They have different notice dates. Maybe EAD hasn't made it to the right department yet?

Maybe it'll arrived later. In some cases they don't arrived in the same date but i hope it'll get to you soon.?

We're almost have the same dates! Hoping we both received our bio letter soon!?

I think once we have our NOA which means they are already processing our papers, we automatically be on AOS pending status.?

Hi!

As I was thought in my school, as soon as USCIS gives you an alien number you are not in F-1 status anymore, which is non-immigrant, but you're not in immigrant status yet. You are somewhere in between and it's up to you if you still want to study or not.

If you don't want to take classes while your documents are being reviewed, USCIS will forgive you because you're married to an American citizen.

However, I'm currently taking classes and still a full time student.

I'm guessing USCIS might give you a hard time if you are not enrolled in any classes. I feel like then you would need to explain a reason of not taking any classes.

Same haha. Let keep in touch and keep me posted. We should pretty much get our stuff around the same time. I literally check USCIS "check my case" website more than 10 times per day and they haven't updated anything yet lol

Quick question: When I send my husband's tax return, I only send the copy of 1040 from Turbo Tax for 2015 and recent pay stub. I didn't know up until now that I can get tax transcript from the IRS . Do you think they will request tax return for 2013, 2014 or resend 2015? I just don't want thing to delay my process. Finger crossed.

It had to be the full return (w2, schedules, etc), not necessarily the transcript from irs. If you sent the full return, you're good to go. If not, you'll most likely get a rfie

I'm not really sure. It can actually be transferred after biometrics. I read one post where the husband received an email from USCIS after 2 months of receiving the biometrics saying their case has now been transferred to a local office.

I stop checking the online so often. I only checked it now once a day.

Well, it can actually be the 1040 which is the individual income tax return OR the transcripts BUT you should have attached the W2s for the most recent year whichever you sent. Did you include the W2s? If yes, you're good then. ?
