What I can see then 10 days from the received day is the average some are faster and some slower.

I just got ours back. Signed the wrong place on the K-2 AOS so sending back out again tomorrow

Typically you get your biometrics letter in the mail within 10-14days after your NOA1 but it can take Aslong as 4weeks... Mine personally took 3weeks to get my biometrics letter in after recieving me noa1

RFIE - request for initial evidence is when the initial evidence (mandatory documents) is missing for example you forgot the birth certificate or you forgot to submit the last years tax return or your forgot to sign the paperwork or you don't meet the financial requirement for the household and need a joint sponser

RFE - request for evidence is when they just want more evidence... Example you only submitted 2015 tax return but they want to see 2013 and 2014 also

The above is just examples of why someone may recieve an RFIE or an RFE

Got my three texts and emails a few hours ago at around 1 AM (woke me up). I had sent my package in on the 16th and it was signed for on the 18th, so took just about 6-7 days from delivery to get NOA1. I guess we'll find out soon what the official notice day is.

Question for everyone: When does USCIS start counting the 90 days? Delivery? Notice date? Seems like many on here count from the day the package was delivered, but the processing times on here are about 87 days from NOA1, which kind of implies that's when USCIS starts counting. When do you put in that day 75 service request, if needed?

I'm sure you will get it soon. I see some people get their NOA1 just a day or two after it was signed for, other 10 or more days after.

they count from day recieved is when the clock starts ticking... my recieved date and NOA date is just over 2 weeks apart and i went threw this question with USCIS casue i has confusion as to when i could submit my service request.. I was able to submit my service request based off my received date... a tier 1 and a tier 2 both confirmed that its from the date USCIS recieved your case
