I hope everyone of us here experience a really smooth process?

Not just yet... I was expecting it yesterday, I guess I wanted too much lol.

Since our sent date is similar, our process would go through about at same time?

Receipt Dates: August 8th, 2016 for I-130, I-765

August 15th, 2016 for I-485

AOS/EAD Sent : August 3rd, 2016

AOS/EAD Delivered: August 8th, 2016 (Day 0)

1st NOA1 (e-notification): August 16th, 2016 (Text & e-mail) (Day 8)

Check Cashed & Website Updated : August 17th, 2016 (Day 9)

1st NOA1 (Hard Copy): August 20th, 2016 (Day 12)

EAD (I-765) Approved: October 14th, 2016 (Day 68)

Biometric Done: October 18th, 2016 (Day 72)

I got 3 texts and emails today saying that my I-130, fingerprint fees, and EAD were accepted, but I've not gotten any receipt for I-485. I'm guessing there will be another one sent to me.

my receipt number doesn't work yet even if i got the hard copy notifications already..is this normal?

That's pretty normal. I know it's annoyin how USCIS receipts numbers randomly works. In my case it already worked before I got the hard copies of NOAs. For quite some like you, it'll take sometime. But i hope it works sooner than later.?

Day 84: October 31,2016 - received biometrics letter in the mail (finally! Almost 2 months from NOA 1 date)

Day 88: November 4,2016 - I-765 (EAD) updated online to 'Case was Approved' on October 31.

Day 91: November 7,2016 - received EAD approval notice in the mail

Day 98: November 14,2016 - Biometrics appointment in Tampa (in and out within 35 mins)

Day 99: November 15,2016 - I-765 (EAD) updated online to 'New Card Is Being Produced'

Well, our processing time can likely be the same. But i think it will also depend on the respective officers who will be handling our case. I hopr both of them are fast enough and don't have a lot of other back logged cases! Haha.

I have one question for you, when you applied for the K1 visa, has USCIS assigned you an A number?

All K-1 get a A number it's in the visa in the passport and on the NOA2

Hey all,

I was reading some posts on Apr and May 2016 AOS filers forum, and realized that some of them, who are already approved with their green card, did not have an interview. I did not know it was possible. Do you have any idea who may be exempt from interview? Is it only K-1 status people? Or could it be anyone on any visa status?

Please share your knowledge.

Only K-1 (and probably the ones that went through that process most recently), because they'd already had an interview while applying for the visa.
