Does anyone here a august filer lives in Illinois who already have a interview schedule ?

My receipt date was August 15 for the 485, I got an RFE and they got that on September 28... my case status is still stuck on "response to RFE has been received etc.".... so idn what's going on. Do some August filers have there GC?

Mine was august 8. I just got my ead last November 28. Now waiting for interview.

I got my EAD November 18th. I'm gonna call about my 485 this week sometimes

It's been 4 months and my 485 is still stuck on fingerprint fees received and No RFE. Anyone in same situation? I really need an advice.. should I call them?

Same here. I've been watching the 500 cases surrounding mine in the app, and they are still chipping away at them, though 75% have seen some kind of action. They approved four I-485's within close range of mine just yesterday. I'm not going to bother calling yet. Based on what I've seen, most of the ones that still only say "fingerprint fee received" from early August are just getting approved without an interview. Not a guarantee but that seems to be the trend. Fingers crossed. I don't think calling will get you anywhere yet, there's nothing wrong, we are just at the bottom of the pile, unfortunately.

They received my application on August 8, since then "Fingerprint fee was received" status is all I can see.

Still waiting, hopefully we will be approved without an interviews but no one knows.

At least I am busy working now and the time passes quicker.

​We have a August 15th filing date, rfe received September 26th, received EAD Combo card November 9th, and called two tier a couple weeks ago and was told our AOS is waiting for an interview date. Hope this moves soon. Would be a great Christmas gift. LOL

If the case is handled (somewhat) at the local service center, I wonder if it is the local service center that determines or has input if you do or do not need to have an interview.

If this is the case, it seems like they might be making observations about you and your spouse when you come in for biometrics.
