OMG just checked my online status and it's on "New Card Being Produced" !!!!!!

Congratulations!!!!!! It's good to see someone making through the process so fast! :dancing::dancing::dancing:

I have similar timeline/ dates to yours, and I was on F-1, too. It's just that I am in San Francisco and it'd take much longer to get an interview appt.

Can you share with us what documents you provided to USCIS that made it so smooth, and what they asked during the 15-minute interview?

First of all congratulations to all of you who got approvals!

Second of all, do you think I should make a service request for my AOS, as status did not change since August 10?

Last and only status so far is: Fingerprint fee was received.

3 months and 12 days since they received my application.

Congratulations!!!!!! Such good news!

Did you guys not have an interview because you already had one when you were getting your K-1?

Congrats!!!!!! Please share with us your interview experience and what documents you provided them?

Where is your local office and how is your timeline like?

I don't think there's any need to do a SR for AOS at this point, unless there's a usual processing timeframe that I don't know about, like the 75 days for EAD?

My AOS hasn't changed since August and it still stays at Fingerprint fee was received, too. I think for everyone it is the same, until you get an appointment. When I went to my infopass for my EAD, the officer told me that my case is at local office and ready to be scheduled for an interview, there's no update just because they still haven't got any appointment available. I am sure it should be the same for your case.

I think you don't have to make a SR. My case status is still "fingerprint fee was received" even they scheduled my interview back to Nov.9th. So I don't know when they are going to update it or if they are ever going to. But you may just find an interview notice in mail one day without any updates showing online! Good luck!

Thanks. I am not sure why we didn't have an interview. We have facebook friends that did K-1 (with a K-1 interview) like us, but they were required to have an interview for the green card.

Services requests on the i485 are supposedly not filed before the processing times stated on the uscis website surpasses your filing date. Waiting since August is not much, there are people waiting over an year (not that common) but within 6 months is still very reasonable

I'm so glad all of your case are moving along.

I got an answer from my inquiry to USCIS.

Because of my RFE (USCIS lost my birth certificate), my clock for my EAD reset on October 20th, so I guess I won't receive my EAD any time soon <_<

It doesn't reset the whole time it just stopped from the RFE and restart after response is received so you'll get it here in not so long :)

Sadly no. In the letter I received they specifically say that "Your I-765 form will be processed within 90 days of the receipt of the requested evidence (10/20/2016)".

If that can help anyone that got a RFE, it doesn't stop your clock, it restarts it
