Yay! I got my hardcopy receipt notices (NOA1) in the mail today! How long does it take before you get the biometrics appointment notice or RFE (if any)? Crossing my fingers that I won't get RFE. So anxious now.

Does anyone know at what point do USCIS send our docs to local offices?

It's unpredictable, there's no indication of a timeframe

Usually after a week of receiving the receipt notices by mail. Can take a bit longer though and it's no problem, mine took 3 weeks or so.

Rfes can be received even on the day of the interview, after it when the officer is reviewing the papers... Until the green card is in hand there's a chance of rfe.

Got the hard copy today, the notice is dated August 13. Still nothing on the app or website; just an error.

Good to hear you're having a progress in your caswe. I am now waiting for my NOA to come in the mail too. ? The biometrics letter is also prertty random in terms of when tl received it. As what I've notice in different experiences here, some got their bio letter as early as 3 days after they received their paper NOAs. Other took 6 days and others have it 2 upto 3 weeks ar their NOA arrived. I hope you get yours early!☺☺☺

And yel, let's all hope no one gets any RFE!???

Sorry to hear about your receipt numbers. Just wait and have a little more patience. Others have their receipt number works on the 2nd month. But i hope you have yours working sooner than later.?

Hi everybody. My fiancee and I planning to send out packet by tomorrow.

And have a question plz. In my G-325a I noticed i made a mistake on my mother's median name. I wrote my last name instead of her family name. Will i get RFE if we submit it like that? Or should i fill another form and send to her which will take like 5 business days because am the beneficiary.

I doubt it would cause any harm but since you can print another one with the right info, why not do it? I don't understand why the 5 business days wait you mentioned

I meant it will take 5 business days if i correct the mistake and send it back to my fiance in the US via post office.

I do hope I get it early as well as my work permit. I've been stuck at home for far too long. I'm not used to being unemployed. I see you're from Tampa also!

I have tried to enter the Receipt number from the USCIS text notification. I was not able to access the information on their website. It didn't recognize the Case number due to a Validation error message.

The six texts I received from my case on August 3rd. I'm guessing some of you are experiencing the same thing?

Yes. We just tried all 6 of our numbers. Received validation error for all 6. I think it takes a while for them to get it entered into the online status tool. I would not stress over it at this point. I'm just going to wait a week and try again.

You can scan the document and send it by email, no problem
