Beautiful, got my combo card a few minutes ago. My case status still says new card is being produced. This means I can leave the country without a hit correct?

You must have Advance Parole in order to leave the US and reenter at another time. If you don't have one, then your reentry may

be denied. Most people apply for AP and EAD when adjusting status from I-485.

Yes I have both. I just wondering what happens at the border when I come back in. I have all my documents as well to show them if they want. Is that really all I need though is my combo. Add and passport to get back in to the US?

I just went to my USCIS doctor about the medical changes and he never even heard that the gonorrhea test is required (two other USCIS doctors didnt hear about that either because USCIS didnt send out an email about the change) The problem with my medical was that I did it end of July but it was signed 1st of August and every ones whos medical was signed on 1st of august or later needs the gonorrhea test. I think its stupid that they go by the signed date but thats how it is. Most doctors use an urine sample for the gonorrhea test and very few a swab test since the other tests dont require that this is one way to find out if it was done or not. Since the medical form didnt change many doctors didnt realize it but if they did the test they need to staple a paper with the lab results to the back (my doctor did the same for my syphilis results)

I just checked the I-693 medical form on USCIS again, and the form is still the version from 03/30/15 and valid til 03/31/17, which should be the same one for those who did their medical exam before August?

I did find a box for gonorrhea to be ticked if it is reactive. So how do we make sure that gonorrhea is tested? Or as long as that box isn't ticked then we're fine? But is gonorrhea even able to be tested by blood, or a swab sample is needed I think?

This is really confusing and even my doctor was super confused by it but he found out that they need to out a print out of the lab results with the rest of the paper work. So if you have a print out with the lab results for gonorrhea you will be fine.

The thing is they didn't even take my urine sample when I went in for my test in October, they only took blood samples! Did they do your urine test even before August?

I found the official website to all civil surgeons that outlined the added gonorrhea requirement.

they missed that test for me so I have to get it done next week. Some doctors do the gonorrhea test with a blood sample or a swab but it is most common with an urine sample. i would just call the doctor and ask if they did it they need to keep a record of what they did.
