That's great, congrats! You must be really relieved to finally see some movement on your case.

I don't know how it will work with biometrics. My guess will be that they will just prepare it and send it as is as your appointment isn't for a while yet, but that's just a guess.

I actually have not expected any movement or update until i got my biometrics done. And it was the first time i ever received a text update from USCIS. Haha.

March 1,2016 - I arrived in the US with a B2 visa (visitor)

Day 00: August 4,2016 - we submitted our AOS package (I-130, I-485, I-765) (USPS Priority Mail)

Day 0: August 8, 2016 - Package arrived at USCIS Chicago Lockbox

Day 1: August 9, 2016 - Received date in NOA (Form I-797C, Notice of Action)

Day 9: August 17, 2016 - Notice date of NOAs

Day 11: August 19, 2016 (12:26am) - received email notifications that our application has been accepted and routed to the USCIS National Benefits Center for processing.

Day 13: August 21, 2016 - all cases receipts are working online. Registered for email and text alerts.

Day 14: August 22,2016 - got hard copies of NOAs on the mail. Notice date is August 17, 2016.
Day 44: September 21,2016 - called USCIS to follow up my biometrics letter. I was given a referral number & was advised to wait & call again after 30 days if biometrics don't arrived. (30 days should be October 21).

Day 67: October 14,2016 - called USCIS again and request to talked to a tier 2. Tier 2 made request and sent it to my local office. Advised to call back again on the 29th if the biometrics letter don't arrive.

Day 84: October 31,2016 - received biometrics letter in the mail (finally! Almost 2 months from NOA 1 date)

Day 88: November 4,2016 - I-765 (EAD) updated online to 'Case was Approved' on October 31.

Day 91: November 7,2016 - received EAD approval notice in the mail

Day 98: November 14,2016 - Biometrics appointment in Tampa (in and out within 35 mins)

Day 99: November 15,2016 - I-765 (EAD) updated online to 'New Card Is Being Produced'

Day 102: November 18,2016 - I-765 (EAD) updated online to 'Card Mailed to Me'

Day 106: November 22,2016 - I-765 (EAD) updated online to 'Card Was Delivered To Me By The Post Office' and found it in the mailbox! :)

Day 112: November 28,2016 - Applied for SSN

Day 118: December 3,2016 - SS card received in the mailbox :)

Day 172: January 27, 2017 - Received a text message from USCIS that there is a change in my case. I now have a schedule for interview and it's on March 2!

Day 175: January 30, 2017 - Received the Interview Appointment letter in the Mail! :) 

Day 206: March 2, 2017 - Interview schedule.

Got my EAD and AP combo card in the mail today! Yay! Still no update on my AOS but I'm glad I can start working! Thank God! :dancing:

At 1:51am today, i received a text notification that my case number for EAD (I-765) has been updated. When i logged in online to check, it says that my case was approved on October 31. Then on the case history, it says

08/09/2016

We received your Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization.

So will thay mean i will probably get my EAD withoutmy fingerprint or they will still wait for ky biometrics before the next update like card being produce or card mailed to me? I haven't done my biometrics yet. But I'm glad EAD was approved. ?

thank you! I was reading some posts and experiences that they actually received their EAD card without doing the biometrics. the card just says "fingerprint unavailable". Although, they said its rare, i still hope same goes to me!

You can receive EAD without fingerprint. For AOS -i485, you have to do fingerprint though.

My received date was August 9 and Noa date was August 17. I actually did not create a SR for my EAD since I still waiting to finish my Biometrics. Hopefully you'll hear something on your end soon.

Sept 7 Biometrics

Oct 18 New Card Produced

November 1 Card was Mailed

November 3 Got my card in the mail. ☺️

It never gave me a tracking number btw.

Something weird just happened: I went to upload my cases in the app and all the cases are there but the I-485 disappeared! I checked their website and it's still there but that scared me... The other cases are still "fee was received"...

I know how you feel. I'm on day 72 myself, but I have a feeling that my RFIE cause some set back on mine.

I didn't have any RFEs and my AOS is ready to be scheduled for an interview, which should mean they've gotten biometrics and they are satisfied with all the papers I originally submitted to my understanding.
