I was planning on calling USCIS tomorrow afternoon if nothing arrives in the mail. Service request to follow if necessary.

Still waiting for interview to be scheduled.....ready to do that as of Oct. 19th. on the USCIS website.

I don't think the status "Ready to Schedule Interview" necessarily means one is coming any time soon, unfortunately. Many people stay at that stage for many months, depending on how backed up the local office is.

You can do a really easy service request online - much quicker than waiting for a Tier 2 to call back. I'd do that first and then call.

Hi,

My Advance Parole Application (I-131) has been updated today as "Document was Produced". Would that means that my AP Application has been approved? or should I wait until it says "Approved"??

Yes, it's beginning to feel like I've been at this stage for a while now. My other applications, EAD and AP are still showing "case has been received" and that was originally dated Aug. 3rd

I think your right. Ready to schedule only means that they are done processing your case and as soon as they have an open spot you get the date. I know a few people who waited several months for their interview letter.

it would be approved. for some people it doesnt show all the updates and sometimes the skip this step. I had the same with my EAD card.

It is not uncommon that people have the status showing "ready to schedule an interview" for 6 months or more. Calling wont hurt to find out if they send something or not but I think the time line it not too unnormal.

Ok, so I have made a Service Request with USCIS regarding my wife's EAD and AOS applications. I will also follow up with another phone call to USCIS tomorrow if I haven't

received anything in the mail. I'll request to speak with a Tier 2 officer this time. I cannot imagine having to wait several more months of "My case is ready to be scheduled for an

interview" and not know WHEN this will happen. It's been more than 75 days since everything has been filed and received.

However, I did receive an RFIE in the mail a while back. I responded in just 4 days time, and USCIS did receive it, and so the "clock" should not have been slowed down that much, especially since they only asked for one thing in the RFIE.

The waiting continues..... <_<

I was told by a Tier 2 that it doesn't delay it, but I've also been told and read online that it does delay it. I'm getting pretty PO'd. I've put in two separate SR for my case because I have not gotten my bio appt yet (receipt date August 15). This is getting ridicualous, I haven't even received acknowledgment that my SR was received.

You still need authorization from dhs to work, that is your ead card. So, no, you can't have that removed with only the ead. You'd need the green card for that.

Can some one explain to me what a service request is? Thanks!!!!

It's a request you made online using USCIS e-request tools when you believe your case has been outside of processing times, or you havent receive a notice etc.

"U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) developed the Service Request Management Tool (SRMT), an electronic inquiry system, to track and transfer an inquiry from an individual or employer to the USCIS office best able to assist."

You can do a service request here:

https://egov.uscis.gov/e-Request/Intro.do

Since the EAD is supposed to be processed within 90 days of receipt, if your I-765 case (EAD) has been pending for more than 75 days, you can submit a service request per USCIS. See this link ( https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processTimesDisplayInit.do). Hopefully, these service requests actually prompt them to take action.

I just submitted one today since today is day 76 by my count (might be day 75 by USCIS's count). We'll see what happens.

We did one as well on Monday. Called and talked to tier 2 as well. The tier 1 I talked to to get to the tier 2 said they were still processing EADs from July.

They already closed the service requests after responding with a "canned" email that stated the following:

Your case is currently under review. You should receive a decision or notice of other action shortly.

The tier 2 did not give us much information other then the case is pending and to just wait. I did ask him to confirm that they had received the bio metrics data. He put me on hold for minute and checked and confirmed that they were received. He also said nothing else can be done on our end other then to wait.

So we will wait a little longer then do an infopass and possibly a congressional if need be. Although I have read of mixed results for both in other forums. I feel we gotta try though.
