Mine changed from "Card being produced" (Sept 25th) to "Approved" (Sept 26th) the very next day.

Others begin from approved to card production. USCIS interchanges these often dunno why.

oh thanks. I applied for EAD card before under student visa and it got approved the day of. So there is no specific timeline.

How long after do you receive NOA for EAD?

1/12/2019: 90- ROC filing window open
1/17/2019: Mail I-751 Package via USPS Certified Mail
1/22/2019: Package arrived
1/28/2019: Receive case number via text message  #WACxxxxxxxxxx
2/21/2019: Call USCIS for non-delivery notice receipt
2/29/2019: Receive 18-month extension letter (2 pages)
4/30/2019: Biometric Appt
...waiting...

Hi, I should have jumped on this bandwagon back in August when we filed. I have a couple questions and totally confused! We had biometrics, approval of EAD on 10/25,

1-797 says I-131 Advance Parole Document is approved received today. Plus I don't know what a combo card is. So what do we still get an interview and I-485 approval next? Confused. Any advice would help. Thank!

Hey guys, it's almost 90 days since our packet was received. I checked I-485 cases that are close to ours and 99% of them are either scheduled for ready to be scheduled for interview. Ours is still stuck on fingerprint fees received. Last known location is NBC. Anyone in same shoe? Is it still a good "wait" case?

NB: Already received EAD card.

A combo card combines an Employment Authorization Document (also known as a work permit or EAD) with Advance Parole permission (allowing you to travel and return to the U.S. without abandoning your green card application-in-progress.)

Ifyou apply for both EAD and AP, you should be receiving this type of card. There are some k1 visa holders who are waived for an interview but mostly still have to go to an interview. Although at times interviews are schedule early, it can take 3 months to a year to receive a schedule depending on the local offices.

After you hear the latest update on your case, they should give you other options like, press 1 if you want to hear this message again or press 2 to report problem on your case and talk to a customer service representative.

You can also make your service request online. As what I've heard they respond more quicly if you create an online SR if you haven't created one already.

According to USCIS website the line is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, in all four time zones in the contiguous United States.

Maybe they'll respond sooner in your online inquiry. But yeah, try calling in different times. Hopefully you'll have someone pickup your call.

Yes. The will always call you back whenever an officer is available. You have a pretty short wait time. I usually get a 100 to 200 minutes of wait time. But they always call back earlier than that. Keep us posted.
