Hey :D

so glad I found this :D

I cam with an F1 visa to the US and we married July 20th and send in our AOS package on July 29th. It arrived on August 1st and I got my text messages and emails on August 12th saying that my package got shipped tot he NBC/MSC. I am still waiting for the NOA in the mail and i am not very patience (just ask the mail main, I run out to the mail box every time he comes hahaha).

F1 visa: 2015

Marriage: 20 July 2016

AOS/EAD/AP sent: 29 July 2016

Package received: 1 August

Priority date: 2 August

NOA email: 12 August

shipped to NBC: 12 August

NOA letter: 18 August

Biometrics appointment: 7 September

RFIE: 8 September

USCIS case status worked: 9 September

Interveiew scheduled: 6 October

EAD card produced: 7 October

AP approved: 7 October

Interview: 17 November

RFE: 17 November (got during the interview because my doc missed a test)

Green card approved: 5 December

Green card in production: 5 December

Green Card was mailed to me: 8 December

Day 00: August 4,2016 - we submitted our AOS package (I-130, I-485, I-765) (USPS Priority Mail)

Day 0: August 8, 2016 - Package arrived at USCIS Chicago Lockbox

Day 1: August 9, 2016 - Received date in NOA (Form I-797C, Notice of Action)

Day 9: August 17, 2016 - Notice date of NOAs

Day 11: August 19, 2016 (12:26am) - received email notifications that our application has been accepted and routed to the USCIS National Benefits Center for processing.

Day 13: August 21, 2016 - all cases receipts are working online. Registered for email and text alerts.

Day 14: August 22,2016 - got hard copies of NOAs on the mail. Notice date is August 17, 2016.
Day 44: September 21,2016 - called USCIS to follow up my biometrics letter. I was given a referral number & was advised to wait & call again after 30 days if biometrics don't arrived. (30 days should be October 21).

Day 67: October 14,2016 - called USCIS again and request to talked to a tier 2. Tier 2 made request and sent it to my local office. Advised to call back again on the 29th if the biometrics letter don't arrive.

Day 84: October 31,2016 - received biometrics letter in the mail (finally! Almost 2 months from NOA 1 date)

Day 88: November 4,2016 - I-765 (EAD) updated online to 'Case was Approved' on October 31.

Day 91: November 7,2016 - received EAD approval notice in the mail

Day 98: November 14,2016 - Biometrics appointment in Tampa (in and out within 35 mins)

Day 99: November 15,2016 - I-765 (EAD) updated online to 'New Card Is Being Produced'

Day 102: November 18,2016 - I-765 (EAD) updated online to 'Card Mailed to Me'

Welcome to the forum. I feel you. Waiting sucks. Haha. But all we can do is to have patience. And knowing that we're not alone in this journey lessen the stress, at least for me.?

Hi everyone! Just found the forum and registered.

I mailed my package last Friday (8/12) and delivered on 8/14. Now my waiting game has started!

I am new to the forum, so I don't really know how to use it yet. Every time I came in, I am always on page 1 and I had to move 9 pages to get on current page. Is there anyway I can log in and arrive the latest page?

I'm not sure how to make it easier for you. Vut maybe you can try this: on the bottom part of yourpage, you will see the "full version". Tap it and you will see more information on the page. Then again on the bottom part just before the "reply to this topic you will see the page numbers. And you can just select which page you would like to go. I hope this helps. If not, I'm sure our fellow VJers can help. ?

My J1 visa waiver has been granted already. That part is done.

Now I filed I130, 485, 765 and 864.

Hi I have one question, I noticed people mail I765, I485 and I131. Why you don't have to file I130 and I864?

I don't know why I filed all of those just because my lawyer told me so, lol!

Everybody has to file the I-864 in the package. Most in here are AOS from a K-1 visa and therefore they don't have to file the I-130.
