On friday we recieved both a hard copy letter saying that our petition for permanent resident had been approved and we received....drum roll please.....the ACTUAL GREEN CARD!!!!!! This is so exciting

I have a priority date 4 dates earlier than yours, and was on an F-1 as well. But I am in California, and I am stuck on Fingerprint fee received. :cry:

Hello,
I am petitioning for my mom. Our I-130, I-145, and I-765 were received no August 11, 2016.
On August 18, they received her fingerprint fee and they said the National Benefits Center was working on her case.
She went to take her biometrics on September 19, 2016.
Her cases for I-130 and I-145 has not been updated after September 9, 2016.

She received her EAD on November 14, 2016.
I was wondering if her being sent to the National Benefits Center will affect processing times.

​Recently read somewhere that NVC was behind and that some of the I-130 had been sent to the Texas Service Center to get caught up. That may be why some of our group members are ahead than others. I know mine is still at NVC and as of Friday they had gotten to August 9th. I hope this helps some in understanding the different circumstances.

Every single case is being sent to the National Benefit Center, that process your case and get it ready an interview (if necessary).

Once they approve it, then your case is being sent to your local office.

So it's totally normal ;)

YAY I called USCIS today to check if they got my new medical and they told me they already produced my greencard :D

Half an hour after the phone call my status also changed.

F1 visa: 2015

Marriage: 20 July 2016

AOS/EAD/AP sent: 29 July 2016

NOA email: 12 August

shipped to NBC: 12 August
