Unfortunately, you don't have many options. You can expedite EAD based on a job offer, and if you have an emergency at home, you can request emergency AP. Other than that, you just have to wait for approval. In spite of what USCIS said about the 90 days, the overwhelming majority of people get their EADs much sooner than 90 days after receipt of the RFIE response.

My husband got an RFIE and the EAD was approved about a month after they received the RFIE response, on day 75. Someone else recently got the same response as you to a service request, and the EAD was approved shortly after.

I'm afraid there is nothing much more you can do.

I was in the same situation as yours (a RFE and then a service request). I received the same letter than you.

Luckilly in my case, my EAD status changed to New Card is being produced, a day after receiving my letter.

So it should come soon for you!

the lady who did our interview said that as soon as they receive the updated medical form and everything is fine with that they will approve our case right away so I am quite optimistic. I am still a bit mad at my doc for making such a stupid mistake.

Will bet your not as mad as my wife. Think the only person she has not mailed is the President of the Philippines, she is bound and determined to get at least a partial refund. (since we still never received her ead or ap its entirely possible. )

Hey guys,

I'm wondering if someone got same status change as I did today. My package was received on Aug 25th and I already got my combo card in beginning of november, and finally today I found an update for my i-1485 case. So I looked for it on google real fast and it looks like I may receive my greencard without interview, not sure if it will really happen, but, my question is: anyone on same situation as I am?

Update is the one below:

Case Approval Was Certified By USCIS

On November 29, 2016, we certified the approval of your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status, Receipt Number MSCXXXXXXX, and sent it to the appropriate appellate office. That office will send you a final decision. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

My wifes application was received on August 24. She didn't need an interview. Green card was approved 4 days after getting combo card in the mail.

Congrats on your approval.
