Hi everyone, I am confused of my situation, please help me.

I am a petitioner for my brother and his family.

I am not working (stay home dad) but my wife has enough income and we filed JOINT TAX RETURN.

My questions is

On I-864 part 6 number 18.a , I have to check YES (have you filed a Federal income...?) and on number 19 (a, b,c) I have to fill adjusted gross income. Then on I-864A my wife have to fill out the same adjusted gross income too ?

Example her adjusted gross income $70,000.00 . We have to fill $70,000.00 on both forms I-864 and I-864A ?

Thank you very much.

Hope every one have a great day.

Yes, you have to fill both forms, and yes, the numbers for that question will be the same on both, because your tax return is her tax return.

I have 1 more question for 100% sure please let me know too.

Since I have no income at all, so on part 6 # 1d I have to check unemployed and on #2 (my current individual annual income is) I have to fill out zero ?

And on # 3, 4 & 5 fill out my wife and her income but this income is total gross before any deductions (not adjusted gross income) right ?

Thank you.

Yes

Thank you.

She would fill out her current income, i.e. the annual salary of her current job.

Hi again. Please help me out with form DS-260.

1- My brother had 2 girls over 21 year olds. NVC does not deal with the situation but after they have interview paper, they can appeal to consulate office, consulate work with the situation. But we not sure the girls can or cannot joint my brother yet.

So on form DS-260 Do I check YES or NO (Is this child immigrating with you ?). If have to check NO , next question can I check YES (Is this child immigrating to the U.S. at a later date to join you?).

2- And he also had another girl who already married, but in case later on after he have citizenship he can petition the girl, so on question Is this child immigrating to the U.S. at a later date to join you? should I check YES or NO.

Thank you.
