Well, it's still illegal to get married on a tourist visa as far as i know, regardless what country you come from... so I'd rather do it the right way

I have talked to a fellow member on here and their NOA date is the 29th of September and the NVC still hasn't recieved their case...

We got our NOA2 Sept 28...still haven't heard any good news yet. I agree with Ceisenbruch that NOA2 to NVC is far worse than waiting for NOA1 to NOA2. Hang in there guys...

Hang in there everyone! Our case took exactly 3 weeks to get to NVC. Since then we have been flying through (I think). It will all happen before we know it. The Sydney consulate emailed us today and let us know that it has received our case. :)

We got our NOA2 Sept 28...still haven't heard any good news yet. I agree with Ceisenbruch that NOA2 to NVC is far worse than waiting for NOA1 to NOA2. Hang in there guys...

How can it be worst than NOA2? I have been waiting since 08/18 and still waiting. Looks like I am going to have lots of lots of expenses form my business and can not pay much taxes(!)

My fiancé received my package of papers he needs for the embassy in Bosnia and it came in 1 wk. NVC and USCIS is absolutely ridiculous. Lol from the US to Bosnia in a week.

July 7th, 2016 – Engaged

September 1st, 2016- I-129F Sent to Lockbox Facility in Lewisville

September 6th, 2016- NOA1

- No RFE’s -

October 3rd, 2016- NOA 2 (Via USCIS application)

- Hardcopy came a week and a half after –

October 27th, 2016- NVC received case (after many weeks of calling)

October 28, 2016- Case was assigned a number

November 4th, 2016- Case left NVC for Bosnia and Herzegovina

( According to DHL website tracking my case will be received by the consulate on November 7th,2016)

November 7th, 2016- Interview (APPROVED)

November 22nd, 2016- POE: Salt Lake City. WE ARE FINALLY TOGETHER.

How are you all checking interview availability?

I am sure they are looking at their Embassy/Consulate website. Many have the interview schedule posted on the website. I know the US Embassy in Bangkok posts the interview schedule for the current month only. So its hard to see what they have coming up in following months.

K-1 Visa Timeline

2016.08.11 - Mailed I-129f to USCIS

2016.08.12 - I-129 Received by USCIS

2016.08.16 - Received NOA1 via Txt Message

2016.08.18 - Received NOA1 I-797C via USPS

2016.09.21 - Received NOA2 via Txt Message (35 days)

2016.09.26 - Received NOA2 Hard copy via USPS

2016.10.06 - Received Case number from NVC

2016.10.12 - Case in Transit from NVC to BKK Embassy

2016.10.15 - Case Received by Consulate

2016.10.19 - Status changed from Transit to Ready

2016.10.20 - Packet 3 Sent to Consulate via Post

2016.10.25 - Packet 4 received from Consulate (Interview scheduled 11/15/16)

2016.11.02 - Medical Exam completed

2016.11.15 - Visa Approved!! (90 Days)

2016.11.17 - Visa received via Thai Post

2016.11.30 - Arrived in the USA!! POE: Chicago

Sometimes 1 to 2 weeks....But others may takes longer...
