Does anyone know how current the medical and police report needs to be? I know you wait till after you have a case number (I'm assuming NVC please correct me if I'm wrong) to book a medical appointment and get the report. In other words does it need to be with-in the last 30 days(or different time frame) from the time you submit the packet/have interview?

Depends on the country, police certificates in the UK are good for 6 months. I don't know about medical though, at least the 4 months you have before the petition expires.

We got approved today,yey..after a week of them receiving our reply for RFE..so for those who had them RFE,just keep the faith,approval is coming.

hmm the police report you can get anytime , but check your embassy just incase

Congrats to all the approved!!! We are still waiting for our approval,after the Rfe reply was sent. We don't even know If they already received the response. The app still shows Rfe was mailed. We sent it on the 7th...I'm crossing fingers:-)

I did, we did not pay the expedited option and we ordered them Sept 16 and got them Sept 28

I tried calling NVC late last night to try and get my case number, it didn't ring or go to any menu, it was just a message that said thanks for calling NVC, all our agents are busy, go to our website, and then disconnected! Is that normal, and is there away around it? There was no way to even stay on hold until someone was available
