I keep hearing of these package 3 and 4. But what are they? I swore all we needed after getting you case # was to complete d160, interview date, doing the medical and gathering the documents for the interview

most the time packet 3 or 4 are just instructions specfic to the embassy on prep for the interview , my embassy doesnt do packet 4 , and packet 3 for my embassy is only a email reply lol , so depends on country , check your embassy site

me! we are in the process of completing our packet 3 even though we havent received the hardcopy yet.

just a valid photo from my s.o and we are done. yep we cant schedule until we submit packet 4 i think. I really want to know what dates are still open for the interview.

Good for you. When do you anticipate to get packet 3? Do they mail it or email it? I think I maybe screwed when it comes to police certificates from other countries. I lived in Tanzania for about a year and Dubai for about 2. Dubai pretty much refuses to send it. Tanzania haven't heard back from them I sent it beginning of September. So frustrating they don't even answer their phone.

You should be able to get your government embassy to intervene on your behalf... have you reached out to the Canadian embassies in Dubai and Tanzania? or are they the ones blowing you off?

How much stuff do you guys think is needed for the evidence of fiance relationship? What are you guys planning to take? I was planning on taking whatsapp messages, facetime records, and pictures? Should my fiance take my travel itineraries and boarding passes as well?We submitted that though when sending the petition.

I have also seen many forums talking about taking the intend of marriage document again, but the package my fiance received from the consulate does not have that listed.

It depends on your embassy. UK filers don't need anything- our proof of relationship was considered "validated" when the USCIS approved our petition. I would check your embassy's reviews and regional discussion forums.

Dubai police said because I don't have proof of having a visa that they can't issue anything. I don't have any documents because that was 2002. My dad didn't keep anything. Not even that old passport. So Dubai is a write off. Tanzania won't answer the phone. I called the police department multiple times. I called the embassy here once and they didn't get back to me.

agreed its embassy specific , im taking my evidence of communication after i sent the petition ( whatsapp,skype,rebtel), shell take trip1/2 photos although there in the petition ill just tell her to take them , along with trip1/2 collages once again in the petition but meh why not

Yea I checked the embassy's reviews. A lot of people said they take it with them, but they never ask for it. Ugghh, i guess i will be doing that this week along with the Financial Supporting Documents. Cant schedule the interview date before sending in all the paperwork. Fiance just got his medical done yesterday. I guess there isnt a lot of wait time for the interview either then. Waiting on the police clearance certificate now. That might take a while now..

We got approved today,yey..after a week of them receiving our reply for RFE..so for those who had them RFE,just keep the faith,approval is coming.
