Can someone tell me at what point the ds160 can be filled out? Is it embassy specific? And which website is it on?

It is here >> https://ceac.state.gov/genniv/ <<

Good luck, it takes a long time to fill out, it's worse than a job application, they ask you EVERYTHING

Lol, we wrote down all the answers on paper a few weeks ago, just need to transfer them :) thanks for the link! It'll feel good to get something done while we wait for our application to reach embassy!

I found the DS-160 from his embassy webpage, it's apparently supposed to replace all of packet 3. It's digital and looks like you can save and come back to later. I'm having my fiancé fill it out now before the packet arrives. That way once it gets there we are good. There should be a geneal search bar just type DS-160 you should find something.

Heres a link that talks about which forms it replaces.

Can anyone tell me at what point we can start his medical as i hear they send you a list of approved ones.

And when can we get his police report?

I was August 1 and got NOA2 September 28 but I still check the app waiting to see the rest of the aaugust 1 petitions approved. There's still 10 people waiting from the 500 I consistently check and there hasn't been any new approvals for over a week :/ I feel so bad for those who are still waiting

Well, I know there are still people are waiting from July. It will be a 2 months waiting. Hopefully I would get some this weekend or the next weekend.

We scheduled the medical as soon as we had the case number, and we requested a police report as soon as we got our NOA2 lol.

Woo!! In Transit! Now he can book his interview, or at least soon!!

Is it normal when I check the status to say this;

Your case is in transit to the Consular Section. Your interview date was provided to you by the National Visa Center.

We will actually schedule the interview right?

I know right?? they really need to have separate prompts for k-1 filers!! or at least include that info in our NOA2 hard copy. Without this site i would've been doomed. i don't know how anyone does it without visajourney lol
