I just called NVC and got our case number!!! It only took two days!

The lady said it can take 4 weeks to get to the embassy and that there's no website where I can track our documents at NVC

This is incorrect info though, right?

15 days , not bad at all awesome

Haha yeah, this is definitely incorrect. You can track your case here: >> https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx <<

Just need your case number. It is tracked as an immigrant visa. Your case should still say "At NVC" - ignore literally everything else in that box. it's meant for IR1/CR1 applicants. In a couple days, your case should update from At NVC to In Transit (this is the 4 weeks she's referencing... i don't know anyone recently who's had to wait that long, but someone said it took them 3 weeks for their case last year so it does happen) and once it's In Transit, that's generally when you can start booking your embassy interview.

Good luck!!

Thanks for that link. I just checked and it said mine is ready for an interview. I haven't received any packets yet though.

No I'm the beneficiary. I asked my fiancé if he received any emails he said no. I thinking with the embassy in Montreal you have to get packet 4 to schedule an interview.

No problem!! Glad i could help!

Not sure if it varies by country, i know it's a blood, urine, and chest test, and probably a physical. You also have to declare existing health conditions. Alex has his on Monday, i can update you then, or check your country's regional discussion forums :)
