So just to clarify nothing gets sent to the NVC. next steps are; (I made this check list in excel I hope it transfers to this ok)

Medical Photo ID 4 passport style photos UK police cerificate (issued within 6 mo.) Vaccination records Medical questionnaire completed DS-160 filed online + PRINT CONFIRMATION PAGE!! call; 020 7486 7822 to schedule medical - Appt Date: Important; medical examination must be completed at least 5 business days prior to interview date complete Notification of applicant readiness; https://uk.usembassy.gov/iv-notification-of-app-readiness/ schedule visa interview & pay application fee + register w/ courier service at the same time you schedule interview; https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-gb/iv Interveiw DS-160 filed online Passport 2 passport style photo Below items require orginal doc + 1 copy; Birth certificate ACPO UK police certificate Foreign police certifiate (Australia) Initial petition and supporting proof/photos Any new proof/new communication records Affadavit of support I-134 + suporting docs letter of intent

nope, you don't send anything to the NVC. Your next step should be to have your fiance book the medical. that way you get a date as quickly as possible. If he hasn't applied for his police certificates yet he should DEFINITELY do that, especially since there's one coming from Australia. That may hold you up. his took ~3 weeks but it was just through ACPO.

After that we filled out the DS-160; it took him about 2 hours lol. Once that was done, we filled out the Interview Readiness Form >> https://uk.usembassy.gov/visas/family-immigration/iv-notification-of-app-readiness/ <<

Then, we waited til CEAC updated from At NVC to In Transit. Less than 24hrs after it updated, we were able to book the visa interview.

Good luck!!

He requested the Australian certificate on 9/25 and the UK one on 9/28 so hopefully they arrive soon. How long did it take for your fiance to receive back ?

Sorry I dont ;( i will from now

Relax. Probably you have forgot to add some information like, intent to marry letter from both of you. (This is important a lot people get RFE because of this)

Secondly, if US citizen was arrested and did not checked the boxes. ( NIna way got RFE because of this )

Thirdly, you forgot to add some other information.

If you check 100 cases you will see "Notice of action was mailed " That means they are denied or rejected. Thats what I guess. So, you are good to go. Just sit and relax. This is not that important as long as your embassy gives k1 schedules fast. Insallah he will be here by December.
