The reason UK filler go to interview so fast is their embassy is empty. UK citizens do not need visa come to US. So basicly their embbasy only do K1 visa and yet they don't need a visa too. They can come to US and get married here. I don't understand why they do such stressful path.

You cannot legally enter the US on a tourist visa with the intent to get married no matter what country you come from, it is considered fraud. Additionally, from what I've seen of people applying for IR/CR-1, the process is just as difficult and takes longer.

Its strange to me that they have your case on file, but not your number yet, ive seen that a couple of times. Its just a barcode they have to scan, isnt it?? "Well i have your case in my hand but i haven't clicked any buttons yet". I'm excited for you i hope you get your case number soon :)

That's not true. And this path hasn't been stressful for us? Not sure where you got this information from? Everything has been pretty straight forward and simple. Either way my fiance has things to care for before he comes like selling his home, car, giving his work notice etc. So he is able to take care of while the K1 visa is in the process. No big deal for us!

That is what I was thinking? Kind of strange but whatever lol. I saw a few other timelines that had like a day or a few days difference from the receive date and date case number was assigned.

I should probably know the answer to this but....especially since I'm so excited to get it lol, but what's the big deal with getting the case number from NVC? Only So that I can track it online? Or using this number can I schedule the medical or interview? (My fiancé is in Ukraine)

Yes, in my case with my fiancé in the UK, we were able to book the medical, fill out the DS160, and even schedule the interview with just having the case number. Additionally, it's the only way to trace your case status now that it had left USCIS. You can track it here
