Well, it's still illegal to get married on a tourist visa as far as i know, regardless what country you come from... so I'd rather do it the right way

Approved October 11th 2016

Hard Copy NOA2 Received October 17th 2016

NVC Received October 25th 2016

NVC Case Assign October 26th 2016

Left NVC October 31st

Paid Visa Fees November 1st 2016

Embassy Received November 4th 2016

Packet 3 Received November 11th 2016

Medical December 12th 2016

Interview December 21st 2016

Visa In Hand??

POE Houston ????

Hopes being together by Christmas :):)

Yeah, you guys have had a really difficult time... they really should be processing cases in order of receipt! There are quite a few Sept filers who have gotten their NOA2, a month after you submitted...

Hey ADT I understand your worry. But be positive ---I had an Rfe after 67 days waiting ?... don't be desperate your approval will come when you don't even expect Edited by Nin&Way

When does the USCIS app usually get updated? (for iphone if that makes a difference)

everytine you open it, it updates. you can also hold and drag your case number down and it will update

Congrats! How long did it take for the Noa2 hard copy to come in the mail? My fiancé hasn't received it yet. He also said he hasn't received an email. We found out we were approved via the USCIS app. We found out on September 20 by the way. Edited by a.ali28

Congrats! How long did it take for the Noa2 hard copy to come in the mail? My fiancé hasn't received it yet. He also said he hasn't received an email. We found out we were approved via the USCIS app. We found out on September 20 by the way.

It took about one week (around 5 business days) to get the NOA2 hard copy.
