yes after your fiance lands in the usa , 1- 2 weeks from being in the usa , go to the ssn office nearby and apply for a ssn card , all the fiance needs is her i 94 and passport

06/05/17....Arrived in the USA (LAX)

06/24/17....Married on Cape Cod <3

 

07/10/17....Sent AOS package (I-485, I-131, I-765)

07/17/17.... AOS notice date for NOA1 (I-485, I-131, I-765)

07/21/17.... Received mailed hardcopies of NOA1s

07/29/17.... Biometrics Notice received in mail 

08/01/17.... Biometrics Appointment AOS - complete (walked in)

08/07/17.... Biometrics Appointment EAD - complete (walked in)

10/23/17.... EAD/AP card delivered to house YAY!

Well, it's still illegal to get married on a tourist visa as far as i know, regardless what country you come from... so I'd rather do it the right way

I HAVE A WUESTION when to check my status? I AM FROM TEXAS AND I DONT KNOW LIKE WHEN THEY UPDATE IT :( its 8:11 am in california

They are approving august 24th too cuz I saw 2 approvals yesterday

I've been noticing a lot of approvals cone through at night, mine came around 7pm, and a lot of people approved on the same day as me got their approvals around that time as well. Calling the CSC won't really do you any good at this point, and it looks like some dates are out of order.

2016.08.12 - I-129 Received by USCIS

2016.08.16 - Received NOA1 via Txt Message

2016.08.18 - Received NOA1 I-797C via USPS

2016.09.21 - Received NOA2 via Txt Message (35 days)

2016.09.26 - Received NOA2 Hard copy via USPS

2016.10.06 - Received Case number from NVC

2016.10.12 - Case in Transit from NVC to BKK Embassy

2016.10.15 - Case Received by Consulate

2016.10.19 - Status changed from Transit to Ready

2016.10.20 - Packet 3 Sent to Consulate via Post

2016.10.25 - Packet 4 received from Consulate (Interview scheduled 11/15/16)

2016.11.02 - Medical Exam completed

2016.11.15 - Visa Approved!! (90 Days)

2016.11.17 - Visa received via Thai Post

2016.11.30 - Arrived in the USA!! POE: Chicago

Has anyone recently received a case number from the NVC and what was your NOA2 date?

I received my case number Sept 28 and my NOA2 date was Sept 8.

K-1 Process  

7/27/16- Mailed 129-F to Texas Lockbox

8/01/16- USCIS received packet

9/08/16- Petition Approved

9/27/16- NVC received packet

9/28/16- Case Number assigned

9/30/16- Left NVC to Dhaka

10/04/16- Embassy in Dhaka received petition

10/12/16- Received packet 4

11/01/16- Medical Exam completed

11/28/16- Interview in Dhaka

11/28/16- 221 (g) Green Slip given

02/06/17- Visa Denied

 

CR-1 Process

04/24/17- Getting Married

05/22/17- Mail in I-130 to Phoenix Lockbox

5/24/14- Delivered to Phoenix Lockbox & Priority number given (Nebraska)

Sent ours in August 25 and no updates yet. Hope to have our approval next month .

Mine was just recently approved. NOA1 8/17 NOA2 9/28

Still earlier than the expected dates from our timeline

Some get approvals quickly, some not as fast. There really is no rhyme or reason to it. Even though the waiting (For the NOA2 notification, for the NOA2 papers, for whatever) sucks we have to remember earlier this year people were waiting 3 months or so just to have the NOA2 notification. We are all in a good spot :)

Get the apps for your phone. you can look up 100 cases at a time.. search your case and will be 100 below you.. add 100 to your case number and you will get the 100 after you
