Hello,

So my fiance had his embassy interview. My fiance said interviewer was a jerk. He advised my fiance that I need to be present for the interview. I flew out there to attend the interview. I thought my fiance was exaggerating however this guy was terrible. Anyway I am not sure how it went interviewer didn't even tell us anything, I had to ask what was the next step. The interviewer just said that "we are waiting on the medical to come in before we can complete the process."  Under normal circumstances I would interpret this as his visa was approved pending the medical but because this guy was a jerk I am unsure. Furthermore he didn't even keep his passport. So my question is do they keep the passport to stamp the fiance visa in the passport or will the visa come separately in the DHL package?

I dont understand how he advised you to be there. Before the interview or after the interview. DId you have two interviews? I dont get it.

They should kept the passport.

Yes we had 2 interviews. My fiance went to his and was told that his application is temporarily rejected until I can attend and/or be interviewed also. I found it strange but after doing research the embassy can request a petitioner interview.

Your visa case is currently undergoing necessary administrative processing. This processing can take several weeks. Please follow any instructions provided by the Consular Officer at the time of your interview. If further information is needed, you will be contacted. If your visa application is approved, it will be processed and mailed/available within two business days.

Interesting administrative processing is not too bad. If it was administrative review than you should have worried.

Yestarday we passed the interview and lady said we will pick up our passport 3 to 5 business day.
