You got the first time AP. Did they ask you any question? Is there any age differences? Previous marriges etc.

There is 7 month age difference. No previous marriages. She ask a few questions like who us my petitioner, how we meet, where We met, ask about our son, why so long between a set of visits, wedding plans, and that's it.

About our son? What do you mean by that. K1 is fiancee visa. Did you apply for k1 or k2? Looks like A.P is a lottery. Everybody can get stuck with it. I wonder what other vj members think about it. They are very quite recently.

By our son I mean me and my fiancé has a kid together. We only apply for k1 not a k2 as my son is a us citizen. They asked about my son's medical condition as he has epilepsy and medication is not working too well as he still has multiple seizures.

Well it might rise questions why you have applied for k1 instead of k2. As far as I know it does not matter if your son is us citizen. You have a kid with you fiancee and your are still not married? They will think why this guy have kid and still not married and not applying k2? As far as I know if you want to apply k1 you gotta be very careful. I have read some where in this forum. One person did religious nikah but not married and his wife is pregnant. They have believed they have had ceremoney and got offically married which they di not. I know nikah is religious and not offical. However in us it is offical. So I believe this rised questions why you are applying k1 visa but not k2. Still he got denied his docs went to nvc case. You are at least A.P. I think still this is my opinion you should have applied for k2. Do you understand my point?

Plus everybody knows k1 is waaaay faster than k2. Thats why for those who have applied k2 are still waiting? Why are they waiting? Because they choose to get married. You dont want to wait and so you have apllied k1 but you have acted like married. ( having a baby ) so this rise questions. I hope you understand.

There is no reason to apply for k2 as my son lives in the US and is a US citizen that is redundant. Know as for acting as married there are plenty of people in the world that have kids and are not married. To compare a religious ceremony to a child make no sense to different lanes. That is just my opinion.

Yes you are right on that. In the u.s so many couples are not married but they have kids. But when it comes to uscis and immigrations things dont work like that. They get suspicious from every single thing. I am just trying to see the problem my friend. Hopefully you will get your visa and your kid will be in a good condition. If I was rude, I am sorry.

If you are the fiancee you will file as K1. If you have a child that is not a USC, the child will file as K2 on the same petition as the fiancee's K1.

A quick guide for K visas:

K1: Fiance(e) of a USC

K2: Child of a Fiance(e) of a USC

K3: Spouse of a USC

K4: Child of a Spouse of a USC

Nothing to do with having a child. Me andy Fiance have a 2 month old daughter. It didn't even come up in the interview about her and hos visa was issued today! :)

Had visa interview today. I got put in AP they didn't ask for anything else. My fiancée says it's good sign that they keep my passport. But I am still nervous I have read about Dhaka infamously super long AP cases.

I understand where you are at. I am in same situation as you. Let's just hope its something small that can be taken care of quickly. My fiancée tells me its not a No, so just keep hope.
