Yes I got rfe and I sent back yesterday. I hope they will look at it so fast. you and everyone knows how it is stressful.

It took them about 11 business days from the date I sent in the RFE for USCIS to approve my case.

Question, After the NVC says they receive your case how long until they are able to provide the case number? They woman I just spoke with said it could take up to 2 weeks to enter my case in their system.

Recently, it has taken 3-4 weeks to get the case number. it took me nearly 3, it's taken longer for people who were waiting after me.

If they have received your case they should give you the number within a day or two.

For us, we didn't bother calling them. We waited 3 weeks, then on a Friday , i sent an email to their adress, then I received a reply 3 days after saying that they haven't received it yet. Then I sent an email again on a Friday morning the following week, and they answered the same day in the evening, saying that they received and they forwarded it to embassy the day before (Thursday)...the email had the case number priority date and all the info.

So in my opinion , call and send emails

At least they touched it, now it's just a matter or weeks, I had an rfe too, and it took approximately 4 weeks to get approved. So relax, better days are to come ?????
