Hey all! Just wanted to let you know that my fiance had her interview today and was APPROVED! It took 90 days from start to finish. Now we are just waiting to get the Visa in hand! From everyone I had talked to, it takes about 3 days in Thailand. I will post an consulate review later for those going though the consulate in BKK. I want to thank everyone I have spoken to here for the good advice and guidance. This site and you all have been very helpful to this point. Thank you again!

HELP NO NEWS 3 MONTH

Submitted 8/19/16

NOA1 (notice of receipt): 8/23/16

No other communication from USCIS in any form. Checked website status and automated phone, nothing. Is this normal?

Filed ourselves. Almost all others listed on visajourney with similar NOA1 date already have NOA2. My lady is a Swiss born citizen with no complicated past, never married before and no previous visa issues with the US. Any help welcome.

I'm so sorry :(. That is a long time to wait. NOA2 is the longest process for USCIS. Some cases may take longer than others. I'm sorry you have to go through this. Have you tried checking your receipt number on the website? That is how I found out before I even got the mail. On your NOA1 there should be a number you can put in on USCIS tracking online.

October 28, 2016- Case was assigned a number

( According to DHL website tracking my case will be received by the consulate on November 7th,2016)

Well it does happen. You never know. It is all about luck. Last week mine was approved while there are still people waiting 08/18. And this week nothing changed. Nothing. It is horrible. I know.

There is one application still waiting from july 1st.

But you should here until end this month. Definitly.
