well most the time a tax return and w2 are what ppl using get with the I 134 , along with that you can get pay stubs, bank statements , employment letter , wage/income transcripts for I 134 supporting documents

Same as passport number. Some passports doesn't have a book number.

Guys quick question. I dont have good tax return for 2015. But since it is going to be January 2017 month. I am planning to do my tax return for 2017. So it this okay? I will do my new taxes right away on January 2016 and probably I will go to interview end of Januray 2016 first week of February 2016.

I am self employed I will also add my business licence and bank statement which I have little over 30K

What do you guys think?

They still need 3 years tax return...

Also they might not accept copy tax return only transcript from IRS.. Some embassy will accept but most don't...

They need 2013, 2014, and 2015

if you file 2016, then 2015, 2014 needed...

Check with your embassy

I am in same situation, I am self employed, and had over 80K in savings

Especially, self employed, they won't accept copy when you file, just transcript from IRS...

Interesting. When I got my first green card. I gave them only one year tax return with co sponsor and everysingle person I know. Also I have spoke with the lawyer actually two lawyers. They said one year tax return is good. The most recent.

Why 3 years? It is so stupid if they ask. My finance was not good 3 years ago but not it is good. Just open my own business.But still I can not get married.

Evem if you wanna buy a house. They ask only one year tax return. One year tax return. Not two. And they give you a chunck of loan.

its better to cover your bases of course the most recent tax return 2015 is the main one that matters for all ppl before april 2017 by then it will be 2016 tax return which is most recent , but you never know the CO may ask to see the previous ones , better to be prepared now

Spoke with lawyer. He said they dont need the the previous ones. I only need 2016 which I will on January 2016. Also I will have over 30K cash on my account. My previous tax returns are way too less than 21K. So it wont work.

Kasi ang binigay sa akin na copy ng fiance ko is photocopy lang and then 1st and last page lang ng court order.. will those docs enough? kasi diba dito sa Philippines kelangan NSO certified ang annullment decree... pls help!!! i will be lodging my application soon! Thank you so much!!1

He should have sent the whole divorce papers . A photocopy is fine . But in the interview you should have the original copy .

I had to do the ds-160 first to schedule and pay for the visa. It asked me for the number from it when I was scheduling an interview
