I'm so happy to come here and see so much progress being made! Congratulations to everyone and for those waiting, I pray things move quickly. The waiting stinks but it'll be over before you know it!

My fiancé will be in Seattle in 24 hours! I can hardly believe this is happening! Don't think I'll sleep at all tonight, I'm too excited!

I am pretty sure your journey will be quick and smooth..

If I were you, I wouldn't call NVC yet.. Base on your timeline.. They might still not receive it.. You may waste time and feel stress...

I would wait at least 2 weeks before make any calls

HEY ADT,

How the process works now?

-Wait the NVC case number

-Wait until send them to embassy

- Check the NVC case status case number ( from here https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx )-

- When the case status say transit ( Should it say transit or ready? )

-Go to https://ceac.state.gov/genniv/ and file 160 DS ( is it online application or I need to download the paper too? )

Go to your embassy website when it says (transit or ready ) and schedule your appointment and schedule your medical.

- I have question here, do we need to sent the documents to embassy ( such as police report financial stuff etc. etc.) or we take them with us. I spoke with my lawyer and he said we do not send them anything. However, I have checked online and they said we need to send them. Interesting. I am waiting January to do my taxes.

- Go to interview and get the visa.

Right now, I am waiting the NVC case number, then I am going to check it and see it ready or transit to make an appointment or schedule the interview. Also, as far as I know, we can not schedule the medical until we receive the interview date. Weird.

You don't sent anything to embassy..

You prepare to bring it to interview or your love one bring it..

Get NVC #. start do you DS160

Create one line account to pay visa fees, (depends on your country)

Schedule interview after DS160 filled out.
